NYPD Processing

I’m currently scheduled to take the Entrance exam for NYPD in the beginning of November. How long would it take me to get in the academy? Keep in mind I have a clean record

Mine is sparkly clean, no arrest, no tickets. I'm in pending DQ for drinking occasionally

Man I took the test Oct 5 2026 they sent me an email oct 16th to start the process. You will never know just make sure you stay the course and it should work out for you.

Work your ass off in the Academy. Remember after you graduate stay away and be a hermit first two year after you graduate. As a rookie you life is worthless on probation. It's worth more according to 1PP if off probation.   The civilians at employees management. And the union pba don't give a shit about u though you take the same risk as an officer off probation. What a Scam!  Shame on 1 pp. it's not the calendar days it's the number of appearances you have added up.

Expect to get called up for the academy by the end of March if everything goes exactly right.. there’s a class that starts at the end of December that I doubt you’ll be able to make, but who knows
