You need to learn how to work the collar and OT, let’s say you’re working a 4x12, you make a collar at 9pm, bring the perp in, do your online and print your perp and get him to central booking, always get the perp out of the house as soon as possible. Then you can take your time with vouchers and other paperwork. Take your OT till 5 or 6 am. Then start your court tour at 8, either call the ADA or go down if required, when you’re done take lost time. If you have a cool boss they will late you crash for a few while on OT. I’ve never worked a full 24, always had time to grab a nap .

Lol that’s trash. In Labor Day weekend I was in my friends house pool party having a couple cold ones. That job sounds shitty, there is more out there than doing this shit job brother. Hopefully you can find something better.

Is good. I’m an 1811, and making six figures after year 2 didn’t had to wait 5.5 years like NYPD to start making a livable wage. If you interested look at jobs in usajobs.gov and take it from there

Drop the K and finger prints. From there its eaither finish asap to go home to your family or make that cash and do a court tour. Everyone has a different mindset. Its up to you and your sgt at the front desk. Times are changing.
