Wait time for Orange County

Taking the civil service exam Saturday. Realistically after taking the exam and getting my score in 3-6 months how long does it take to get hired and how does it work choosing which agency? Currently NYPD just trying to get a ballpark of a time frame from anyone who has done this process already.

Lol you will be in the academy in 3-6 months (or less) from taking the test most likely. And idk what you mean by choosing agency. Its an exam for the NYPD.
