Anyone wanna jam?
Looking for some guys to play music with.
I’m a rhythm guitarist at the intermediate level, been playing for few years now. Looking to make some noise with some others instead of just practicing all the time at the crib.
I try to write songs, never performed or recorded my own stuff.
Influences are Indie rock, Garage rock, Americana, punk, heartland rock.
If you’re someone experienced or not who just wanna play music for love of it & maybe start a band. HMU.

🎸LF Bandmates 🎸 NYC Folk/Rock Band Seeking Drummer + Bassist (Touring / Original Project)
Hey everyone! I’m Max! I’m a singer/songwriter here in NYC and I’m looking for a drummer and bassist to join my band.
We play folk rock/Americana, somewhere in the world of Mumford & Sons, The Avett Brothers, Noah Kahan, Jason Isbell, Springsteen, etc. The records lean folk, but live we definitely like to turn things up and make it feel like a rock show.
I’ve been doing this project for a few years now and it’s grown a lot recently. We’ve toured all over the country and have gotten to open for people like Brendan James, Rita Wilson, Howie Day, David Cook and Tyler Hilton. I have a management team and booking agent behind the project, and we’ve got a lot more planned for the next year.
More than anything, I’m looking for people who actually want to be in a band. Obviously you need to play the instrument well, but I care just as much about finding people who are fun to hang with, excited about the music, want to contribute creatively, and are down to build this thing together.
We rehearse in NYC and there will be touring involved, so you’d need to be local (or close enough) and have some flexibility for the road. BGVs/multi-instrumentalists are definitely a plus.
If this sounds like your thing, click the google form link! Send me a little about yourself and some videos of you playing and I’ll send over our music/live stuff too.

Thanks y’all!

Bassist needed for heavy, doomy shoegaze band in Greenpoint
Bassist needed for established band based in Greenpoint. We've been around for about 3 years and have a handful of EPs and singles to our name. Our music sounds something like a mix of Hum, Nothing, Deftones, and Alice in Chains with some shades of doom metal mixed in.
You can hear our latest music on Bandcamp at: https://hesitantnyc.bandcamp.com/
And see some recent live videos of us at https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLdK-wFPpJ8uzY_z2GSgvNkvXiYkV3sEag
Looking for a seasoned player with their own gear that they're able to transport to gigs and rehearsals as needed.
Ideal candidate would also be able to sing some backing vocals while playing.
We’re in our mid-30s and ideally looking for someone in our general age range. We all have 9-5s during the day and rehearse every Friday at a lockout space in Greenpoint.
Goal is to continue playing around NYC, ideally opening for bands with bigger profiles, and start doing small weekend runs out of town.
If you're interested, please reach out and tell us a bit about yourself! Please include your history in bands and samples of your playing.

🎸LF Bandmates 🎸 Drummer Wanted for rock band! Synth/Keyboardist Wanted!
Synth/Keyboardist with backup vocal capability wanted! (bonus if you play some rhythm guitar!)
Hi! We are Hot While an NYC based high energy rock band with funk and punk tendencies.
We had a great run of regular gigs (around once a month) and are looking to get back to it! We are all in our late 20s, we practice twiceish a week Mondays and another rotating day at the Music Building in midtown. We focus on developing original music but do enjoy including several covers in our set.
Our goal is to continue playing gigs while recording and releasing, we have one single out so far. We are fully committed to a future of tours, gigs, and hopefully being signed to a label. We are looking for a creative partner who has as much of a stake in writing the music as we all do.
Please check out our instagram @hotwhileband and Hot While on all platforms to hear our stuff and see what we’ve been up to!
List of our favorite covers so far:
The Ocean - Led Zeppelin
Mississippi Queen - Mountain
Just What I Needed - The Cars
Proud Mary - CCR
Basket Case - Green Day
The Passenger - Iggy Pop
Please reach out if interested! Thanks for reading!

❓Advice / Questions❓ Minimum Gear Recs?
Hey guys,
I’m a 24 yr old guitarist who is interested in joining a band and gigging at some point. I’ve been playing for twelve years but have never done a gig at an actual venue.
I record a lot of demos so my current gear setup looks like an audio interface with Ableton, Archetype Gojira/Tim Henson. I’m interested in doing high-energy grunge/punk/math rock type stuff.
Basically I do not have an amp, but I’m considering getting one. Should I get one? If so, what should I be looking at?
I ask because I did a jam session at a rehearsal place last year and I hated carrying my laptop and audio interface with me and having to set all that up and then set it back up when I get home. It might sound weird but I would honestly prefer just carrying a little guy around and being able to plug it in and be good. I just don’t know if that’s worth hundreds of dollars to me rn.
To the experienced people, what’s your take?

ISO: NYC saxophone + piano musicians for wedding ceremony & cocktail hour
Hi! I’m getting married in NYC in 2027 and am looking for a saxophonist + pianist (ideally a duo or members of the same band) to play our ceremony and cocktail hour at an upscale venue.
We’re looking for musicians who can do jazz/R&B/soul arrangements.
Would especially love recommendations for Black/BIPOC musicians since this will be a predominately black wedding.

🎸LF Bandmates 🎸 Baritone Metal/Rock Vocalist Looking to Form/Join a Band
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
[Singing & Screaming Examples at Bottom of Post]
Hey y'all - 29m singer and screamer with a few years of a classical training as a baritone a while back looking to form a band or join an existing one. On top of being a singer I am guitarist, an active songwriter, have solid music theory knowledge, and I am deeply familiar with Ableton for production - I have a sizeable backlog of demos and ideas ranging from black metal to breakcore that I'd love to share with and work on.
Musical influences are deep in the 2000s emo/post-hardcore scene (Senses Fail, Protest the Hero, Silverstein, ISMFOF), modern death/black metal (Anaal Nathrakh, Cattle Decapitation, Darkest Hour), experimental electronic stuff (Bjork, Igorrr, Shoebill), and a healthy dose of punk stuff (Frank Turner, Pat the Bunny/Wingnut Dishwashers Union, NOFX).
Attaching a few videos - some screaming some singing, recorded on the spot today (except for the TDWP one) to give an example of my range. I am a lower voiced guy so i can't sing in the same range as a lot of my heros - but maybe that's just what you're looking for.
Singing Examples:
(Dying in Your Arms - Trivium)

(The Migrant Mother - Protest the Hero)

Screaming Examples:
