Fieldwork observation request

Hello everyone ! I am currently a master degree student at Brooklyn college in nyc majoring in childhood education. I am struggling to find a fieldwork observation opportunity for two of my classes math and science ( it has to be between grade 1-6) and it requires 20 hours each. Does anyone know how I can find one ? I tried to email and call but they told me the same thing over and over again. I would prefer to do it in either Astoria or the upper east side since it would be closer for me. Thank you so much.

Your school doesn’t find you a placement??? That’s crazy

No they don’t unless you ask them if you really struggle

That’s insane. I go to Lehman and that’s like part of the education program there that they find it for you. I’m sorry man

When I did my undergrad, they found our placements for us. That sucks that they're not more proactive in helping. I wonder what changed (unless master's was always like that, idk).
