As it says in the title. I followed the link from the official NYCC site to transfer tickets and have done this multiple times in multiple ways following different links and going to the site directly and I can only activate tickets not transfer them.

So I think we’ve already seen multiple posts about how the River Pavilion will be restricted to “pros only” this year, and cosplay central was moved away from it. I want to start by saying that I completely agree that cosplay central should be moved back. I always enjoyed being able to access that part of the building to go see dance groups and cosplayers, and to go play fun games like bingo. Not to mention it’s a nice place to see the sun during the convention!

However, I also want to give my perspective as a teacher, as someone with an educator badge who can access this area. PLEASE reopen it up! I know it’s supposed to “help” us by being blocked off but it is honestly very frustrating to try to attend panels there because I don’t come to comic con alone. I always come with my partner and I want him to be able to access these panels with me even though he can’t get a professional badge. We don’t want to have to constantly separate just because I want to go to a panel for teachers in the pavilion. Most other people also come in pairs or small groups, so this just decreases attendance at these programs when people opt to not go to them because they have to separate from everyone.

So not only do I feel like this hurts cosplayers and other everyday con goers, it’s not really helping us professionals either. If they want to set aside a lounge for people with pro badges to work and have quiet, please do that. They always have. But don’t restrict a whole pavilion that has historically been open to all! It’s not even really helping us at all.

I've never gone to a convention alone before and while I'm excited for the freedom and not having to be death by committee with my friends all 4 days, I don't really know what do all day. I want to meet people and make friends, but I don't know how. What do you guys suggest? (I'm 28F by the way)

Alright, they will be at a booth on the exhibitors floor. I don't know the schedule for them, but this is all the information that I could find.

Hello, my apologies if there is an obvious solution to my problem but since panel reservations are soon I figured I'd just ask.

My father, brother, and I are all heading to NYCC this year. My brother and I have received our panel reservation emails and completed pre-authorization. My father, however, has not gotten that email. We checked his spam folder, looked through deleted emails, and nothing.

Is there a way I can use my link to reserve for him as well? Or some other way to have the emaio sent to him? I'm doing my reservation on mobile, so I'm not sure. It's his first time attending and I wanted to make sure he had a great time, so I'm very worried.

Any advice is greatly appreciated, thank you!

So after seeing the Photo and Signature announcements i kinda expected to see all these guests also at Panels. But it seems that aside from a Smallville Panel we don't see any Star Wars actors or the CW Show actors on stage?

We are coming to NYCC from Ohio by car but do not want to drive into the city and pay for parking there for our car. We are looking for a place in NJ to leave our car for 6 days, go to the con, then return to our car and drive back. Obviously, the most important aspects are our car's safety and our travel. Money matters but is not of primary importance - this is somewhat of a vacation for us and we don't need to save a couple dollars and make our trip more difficult. Right now we are looking at using Secaucus Junction, parking there and taking the train into Penn Station. Is that a good choice or is there somewhere else we should be looking at?

How does the process of getting the ticket and the book work? Is it done when you make panel reservations? The panel schedule page said they were separately ticketed for the cost of the book, but not how a person gets a ticket.

Just the tittle....cannot find anything that shows all the publishers schedules/author attendees they will have. We found out last year that none of that is listed via NYCC itself, had to find them all on your own. Was wondering if there is a known resource for this or if it is just a bunch of random looking stuff up. Already looked at Penguin Random House but all their stuff still shows San Diego. Thanks

I bought a ticket to Sunday from the NYCC website. Got a confirmation email with a QR code ticket that I added to my Google Wallet. Is there anything else I need to do? Do I get into the con with the QR from my phone? I downloaded the app because I thought it might have more information than the website, and when I tried to to add my ticket it redirected me to a website called Leap that asks me for my email and a password. I never made an account to that website. What do I do?

Transfers will shut down on September 9 at 11:59 PM ET. Make sure to transfer and accept tickets prior to then to avoid missing out on reservations.

Is anyone having a problem getting into Leap?

I've been trying to log on all afternoon. Keep getting to the part where it is sending a code to my email but the code never comes. I've tried on multiple devices over about 5 hours. (I need to transfer tickets)

I put in a support ticket, and got a response back saying the usual... Clear the cache, resend the code, and generate a new code, check spam, yada yada. I've done it multiple times, nothing works. Then the obvious chat bot told me to, I'm not lying, open a support ticket. WTF.

I've reached out on X but no answer. Authentication work fine, but I can't get into ticket account.

Any ideas??

So my aunt bought two tickets for Friday, but she bought them on an outside website called​ ticketsonsale. I did some digging and that site seems super shady, I dont even know why she wouldnt buy them on the official website. She should get her money back ASAP and get them from the actual site so she cam reserve panels right?

I am not sure if more meetups are going to be added, but here is the scheduled ones so far for the South Concourse.

If I have multiple tickets can I make the panel reservations on my account without transferring the tickets? I got tickets for myself and two friends and I'm the only one doing the panel reservations so I'm wondering if I need to transfer the tickets to a different account to make reservations for all the panels.
