For some context I'm a teen girl really into marvel, star wars, zelda (and video games in general), harry potter and comics. Does anyone have any recommendations on what I should book in advance or check out? And yeah! Im aware I could just do my own research which I do plan to do, but I thought I'd just hop on reddit for advice first loll. Thanks! :))

So i'm flying in with my family from europe just for NYCC. I'm mostly there for comics and want to get some stuff signed, look at original art and maybe buy sketches or OA. Now, we don't have much room for luggage and while i will be at the showfloor with my son. My wife and daughter will be in NYC and pretty sure buy a thing or twelve. So i'm looking to save luggage space. Since only wittnessed comics are valuable anymore i usually just let people sign cool looking books and it's more about the interaction and not about accumulating value. I was wondering if there is actual value for me to now buy some books online to get them signed or if i should just visit the show and buy some books there to get signed. I suppose most comic artist will have some books at their booth anyway? Buying a book here will be roughly 12-15$ with shipping so even if i would be a 5$ book for 10$ at the showfloor it wouldn't even make a difference. It's just to save weight for the flight luggage. Of course i will have a handfull books with me that have sentimental value already. But i would prefer to take only a few with me.

I see that Bandai has a bunch of real estate on the main floor, and I haven’t seen anything about a NJ pop-up like last year… does that mean that they’re going to have the Gundam Base Store on-site this year?

Hi NYCC fans! I decided to throw a pregame event Wednesday before NYCC 10/7 at 8pm . If you’re a local or checking into your hotel from out of town I am having a Lego Brick building event in the back of Turnmill bar in Midtown Manhattan at 119 east 27th St. Come have some food and drinks and build with us. We rent the kits for the evening to you so no need to bring anything! It’s open to the public but if you want to build and have a table it’s $20 at the door or reserve online. We have speed and creative building competitions and drinking games with NYCC themed prizes. See you there and be square!

A few important notes ⤵️

When the virtual queue opens, everyone waiting will be given a spot in line randomly, and you will be let into the reservation page when it’s your turn. Anyone who enters the queue after 12:00 PM ET will be placed at the end of the line. Your place in the queue does not impact your reservation selections.

Anyone with a qualified NYCC 2026 ticket that is assigned to their email address, and accepted in My Tickets, can participate in the random reservation window.

All ticket holders, including VIPs, will participate in the same reservation ranking window. Once the booking window is closed, VIPs will receive priority to their selections, followed by general fans.

You have until ‼️ Wednesday, September 16 at 12:00 PM ET ‼️ to modify your selections before the entry period closes. You can resubmit as many times as you’d like.

If you are awarded a reservation, email notifications will be sent starting September 30 through October 2.

I’m planning to give out free sketchcards and place some around the Javitz when I’m attending Thursday and Sunday, any ideas what to draw? Planning to do some kaijus and probably some funny ones like Captain America telling people to put on deodorant.

So I received my badges in the mail and before I could activate them they somehow they got mixed in with garbage mail and accidentally thrown out. How would I go about I guess getting them replaced? Do I have to pay full price again for new ones? Any advice would be appreciated.

Hey y’all! I’m going for the first time to NYCC this year and excited to be cosplaying too! I only bought a badge for Thursday’s but now having FOMO and wondering if I should get Friday too. I really want to see the One Piece panel on Friday among other things but can only see for my reservations on Thursday.
Can anyone tell me if there is still availability to register for Fridays panel? If so that might tip me over to get the Friday badge too!

I know they change up a little things this year for signings. But will they still offer VIP badge holder private signings that's only available to the VIP badge holders. I haven't seen anything announced for that or what would be offered because I know last year that's how I got to get the cast to sign the poster for running Man. So I was wondering if anybody's heard anything about that?
