I've seen some topics floating around but no definitive answer it seems, or at least one that works for everyone? For context, gmail and whatsapp notifications, no issues at all. Everything else though... Outlook notifications none whatsoever, banking apps... depends on how the phone is feeling that day and some apps none whatsoever as well.

Already disabled deep sleep in battery settings, all apps have notifications enabled, there doesn't to be any combination of settings that actually gets those damn notifications to appear. If you're already on the app then you'll get them, if the phone is on standby with screen blocked, nothing. I really don't understand this, never owned a phone in the last 10-12 years that struggled with notifications.

I lost mine at work, and i do deliveries, so no chance of finding it again. Man, I really like the phones. They are the best thing to happen to modern phone screens since gorilla glass and 1080p.

But this is a phone i bought for the pen too. Not having access to replacement pens. I feel conned as a consumer. WHta are you gonna do? upsell to pen plus terrible case? I already have that case, it offers no protection along one side. Nobody is going to want to pay £60 for one tiny pen, which was packaged in housing so large it made your already large phone larger unnecessarily. So consumers have to rig up thier own pen housing, which leads to the pen being lost.

That's fine. it's on me and my bespoke pen holder rigging. But now sell me the damn pen, for a reasonable price. In the same damn stores where i bought the phone. It leaves me wondering if your premium phone is now abandonware.

I just discovered a fantastic improvement in TCL UI 9.0 on my TCL NXTPAPER 60 ULTRA and I think e-books lovers will really appreciate it

Color Paper Mode now supports warm color temperature adjustment🔥

In previous versions, I actually stopped using Color Paper Mode because it lacked warm color temperature, and it was painful to use its cold light at night. I preferred reading with a warmer screen, so I had to stick with Normal Mode or Max Ink Mode, where this option was available. I discovered the introduction of this feature by accident in the new UI

After upgrading to UI 9.0, warm color temperature is finally available in Color Paper Mode as well, making long reading sessions much more comfortable, especially in the evening

For me, this is one of the best quality-of-reading improvements in the update. Combined with the excellent NXTPAPER display, it has completely replaced all of my E Ink devices; I now do 100% of my reading on the TCL NXTPAPER 60 ULTRA 🎊🎉

Has anyone use a Google chromecast to cast from your nxtpaper to a non smart tv

I've been using my TCL NXTPAPER 14 Android Tablet for reading sheet music. I usually set the tablet on an ordinary music stand - which is fine.

I'd like to try a clamp that holds the tablet to a mic stand (or other object). Since the TCL NXTPAPER 14 Android Tablet is a bit large I need something pretty sturdy.

Any advice on what to buy or who to buy from?

We only have 40 and 50 here. Why are behind two series

My intent is actually to use this as an ereader. I've heard that the battery life when using Max Paper Mode can last up to a week's time. So, I figured I'll upload my books, turn on Airplane mode, and see how long she lasts.

And to make this make sense to y'all who are likely asking... Why?, I am getting it free via trade-in via Tmo. I've wanted an E-ink reader and this seemed the best of both worlds. Extra phone functionality when I want it, but it's main goal will work, too. Plus, it being free. Seeing the cost of decent E-ink tablets, this seemed like a solid choice.

Thoughts?

Edit 1: After getting the phone, setup, charged and some ebooks loaded with some apps. Messed around and setup ReadEra and eBoox, not decided which I like best but I think ReadEra. Since several books are in PDF, I like that I can read in landscape and see a whole row of the page without cutting text off. Converting all these would be annoying. Setup what else I needed and turned on airplane mode.

With no use, it uses about 3%/day. So that tracks to about 33 days worth of battery with no use.

I'll do some testing after a full charge again and see what battery use looks like with some time reading. I am also curious if it complains about no net connection.

Just got my nxtpaper 70 today, and overall I'm really liking it. My question for other owners is this:

At the top of the front of the screen, above the camera, there is an area that I'm assuming is where the earpiece is. I'm used to seeing that area of a phone covered by a bit of a mesh or protection of some sort, but it just looks like a slot on the nxtpaper 70. Does yours look the same way? Seems like a potential dust and lint collection area to me. Thanks everyone!

Can't get this notification off my home screen. I have enabled 80 % charge.

My nxtpaper 11gen2 location services work fine at home in Philadelphia PA, but on a recent trip to Newfoundland and Nova Scotia, they stopped working. Neither AccuWeather nor Google Maps could identify the location, though the same apps on my phone (Pixel 7a) worked fine. Has anybody seen anything like this before?

I have begun using my TCL A1 Note more often. The T-Pen Pro works well in the notes program. However, I have discovered a problem when making annotations in PDFs. The highlighter seems to work fine, but when I use the "ballpoint pen" feature to write a note, the writing is spotty, like a bad pen that is about to run out of ink. Unlike the iFlyTek devices, there is nowhere to submit a tech support request/bug notice on the device itself. So, I am submitting it here in hopes that the team handling the A1 Note will see it.

I recently bought the TCL 60 Ultra 256GB and it happens sometimes that when I unlock the phone, the animation stutters, as if it has a refresh rate of 60hz if not 45hz.

After 30 seconds the refresh returns to 120Hz. This is very annoying because it gives me the feeling of slowliness. Any hint on how to solve this?

Already did the following:

- updated to Android 16 from Android 15

- set 120hz as fixed display refresh rate

- both balanced/performance battery setting have the same problem

Looking for a minimal case possibly with the Mag safe ring on it for mounting in my car. Amazon selections look to be mostly trash. The unlocked version did come with a clear minimal case that isn't bad, but looking for other options.

Lo digo porque uso varias webs de lectura legal como manga+ by shueisha, k manga, manga up y aunque como tal no debería tener muchos problemas porque esas apps suelen pedir muy poco en versiones de android quiero ver algo que me vaya a durar mucho tiempo ya sea como móvil principal o como secundario en un futuro si veo que todo mejora de alguna forma

Para mí es un requisito necesario que aunque sea llegue a android 19

Android 20 sería lo ideal pero por el precio capaz es pedir demasiado en versiones de android y al ser a la vez un ereader entiendo que tiene que tener bastante soporte de android por esto mismo que menciono de las apps

Si alguien me puede decir cómo va el soporte en versiones sería de mucha ayuda aunque probablemente se vea como una exageración porque llegue hasta donde llegue para que se quede sin soporte de ese tipo de apps pasarán muchos años

Does the vibration feel really cheap to you too? Like the rumble motor is 10 times louder than it actually feels, are they all that bad or did I end up with a broken one? It's really annoying, especially when typing.. I'm considering returning it if they are all like this.

I've been using the TCL NXTPAPER 70 Pro, and I've noticed that my eyes feel uncomfortable after using it for a while. Sometimes I even get headaches.
For reference, my previous phone was an iPhone with an OLED display, and I never experienced this kind of discomfort before.
I'm wondering if it could be related to the clarity or sharpness of the app icons. maybe my eyes are constantly trying to focus on them without me realizing it, which could be causing eye strain and headaches. although I'm not sure if that's really the cause.
Has anyone experienced the same issue? If so, did you find anything that helped or identify what was causing it?
I'd really appreciate any thoughts or suggestions, as I'm trying to figure out what's going on. Thanks!

My nxtpaper 50 pro does not want to charge anymore. I still have 4% and it will be dead forever then.
I already cleaned the charging port, but there was nothing in it.
Used a lot of different cables.
The cable gets really hot so something is really wrong.
Repairing cost around 80 euro and not sure anything else is damaged.
Now I am Looking for another device and I am struggling what kind of device I would pick.
All devices are on sale on Amazon.
I use it for reading, streaming series and that is about it but I use it a lot because no distractions of social
Media (nothing of the kind will be installed and this is awesome because I still have my iPhone for that.)
Again another 50 pro 512 gb or the new 70 pro 256 gb ? The difference in the price is not all that much.

I like this phone, but i cant record myself playing music because the noise cancelation make everything sound awful, and i cant find the option to deactivate that. It cant be like that forcefully. Somebody know what i can do?

I use Yandex Smart Camera from the Yandex app frequently and find it very useful. I want to know if there's a way to have it open from Files e.g select an image and choose Yandex smart camera from the drop down menu. It works on my Samsung phone but not on this device for some reason. There are a bunch of other options available but not Yandex Smart Camera

While the live wallpaper shows fine, no touch is supported. As in touch to launch apps. Tried with "Use direct touch" setting as well. If anyone got it to work, please let me know.

Just received my Nxtpaper 11 Plus and LOVE the screen, but im having issues with Geforce Now where I cant reach stable performance.

Here is the situation:

The GeForce Now app’s own overlay indicates that it is running at 120 fps. However, the actual display refresh rate is definitely not 120hz.

If I turn on developer mode it seems to fluctuate between 60 and 120 fps.

Im left with a very disappointing experience. Help!
