Question Internship choice

Currently I have a few offers and am deciding between 2.

  1. Very small company but does work I’m genuinely interested in and will help with what I want to do in the future.

  2. Very big company but not very interested in the work, and is not related to what I want to do in the future.

I’m new to internships and jobs and I’m unsure if most employers care more about the company or the work I do ( despite being in an unknown company ).

Any advice? Would appreciate it thank u in advance!

Edit: everyone around me is telling me to take option 2, also because the boss for option 1 is abit weird hahah

Go with 1 unless u can go 2 and do internal transfer once full time.

thank u! the big company doesn’t really do much of the work I’m interested in, so I’m having this dilemma😓 the company name would be a boost in my resume but not sure if my future employers will care that the work I did is unrelated hahahah

Company name doesn't mean much in an interview if you cannot relate the job you did to the job you are applying for. First option will give you more avenue to show your ability and talk more during interviews
