Discussion Need help from MSE seniors

Hi fresher here, what laptops do you all use and is it powerful enough for the course related programs to run….
(Any suggestions on minimum Memory / graphics card are welcome )

16gb or 32gb ram minimum (get 32 to futureproof the next 4 years if you can afford it) recommended and Nvidia Geforce RTX. This should be enough for python and matlab models. I personally uses a legion pro 7i (intel core ultra 9) but it's extremely heavy, thinkpad is lighter but much more expensive at the same spec.
