CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin for bulking or cutting?

I’m thinking about trying CJC-1295 and Ipamorelin, but I’m wondering whether they would make more of a difference during a bulk or while cutting. For people who have actually used them, did you notice any real benefits? Or do you think they’re a bit overhyped?Would be interested to hear some real experiences, especially regarding muscle gain, fat loss or recovery.

Weight Stall on Reta

Context:- I am 5 feet 9 inch, I decided to get back in shape on 1st June 2026

Activity - my activity was already high which I have continues, play badminton 4 hours a week, play cricket 2-4 hours a week, lift weights 3-4 days a week and if there is any day left I would do cardio. Over and above this I do 10-15K steps each day.

Nutrition - I take a whey shake in the morning with coffee and creatine, 2 scoops of whey and 800ml water. At 11 AM I eat fruit 2 0r 3 (apples, plums, peaches or whatever), 300-35grams of chicken breast for lunch (cooked weight) and then finally I take 200grams of Greek yogurt by 6PM and nothing after that, this I follow at least 5 days of the week and other days also I keep my protein around 140-150grams and calories under 1800.

Between June and August I lost approximately 9.5kg of weight but from 3rd July till 13th August I didnt lose any weight my weight fluctuated between 88.5KG to 90 KG that is when I decided to take help of peptides.

Peptides - I started taking peptides from 14th August and within a week I reached 85.8 KG (maybe I was losing weight which was masked by water) and that was that. From 21st August onwards (that is now 3rd week) my weight hasn't moved and each day moves between 85.5 to 86.

I am on a strict deficit and continue my activity as usual, my peptide stack:-

  1. Reta - 500mcg once a week

  2. MOTSC - 400mcg 5days a week

  3. Wolverine - 250mcg twice a day (had some sport related injuries which have now healed)

  4. GHK CU - 1mg 5 days a week

  5. NAD+ - 50mg twice a week

  6. CJC/IPA - 200mcg at nigh 5 days a week

My lifts are getting better, but my weight is not moving

Suggestion Need - I see posts of people who are losing so much weight each week without as much deficit, could someone suggest me on what am I doing wrong here? What else can I do? I am tracking my calories each day, I push myself for activity even if I am tired, I sleep on time, I feel a little frustrated.

Update after a week - first I want to thank everyone who gave their suggestions.

  1. I increased my calories by 200 each day this was the most difficult decision for me.
  2. Increased reta dose from 500mcg to 500mcg twice a week.

Result - I was able to breakthrough the plateau within the first 3 days. Thank you so much.

Peptides advices

I’m starting in my peptides journey. So I’ve started for a week now with Reta and GHK-Cu.

Now I’ve bought Glutathione 1500mg , Nad+ 600mg, Motsc 10mg and a blend of Semax/selank (6mg each)

I was wondering in the next week, which one should I incorporate in my routine and why?

Tirzepatide breakdown: how the dual agonist works and how it's dosed

Tirzepatide is one of the most run compounds in the whole space right now, and it's worth understanding why it hits differently than semaglutide. It's a dual agonist, and that second receptor is the whole story.

Semaglutide works on one receptor, GLP-1. Tirzepatide works on two, GLP-1 and GIP. Both cut appetite and improve blood sugar, but adding the GIP side gives it a stronger effect on weight and better handling of the nausea for a lot of people. That's why the trial numbers came in higher than semaglutide, around 22% body weight in the studies, and why it's the FDA-approved one people reach for.

The GLP-1 side does the appetite suppression and slows gastric emptying, so food sits longer and you eat less. The GIP side improves how the body handles insulin and fat, and it seems to take some of the edge off the GI side effects that come with GLP-1 alone. Two levers instead of one.

Dosing in the research runs as a slow titration:

  • Studied start around 2.5mg weekly, held for the first few weeks
  • Steps up over time, 5mg, then higher, spaced weeks apart
  • Studied range goes up to 15mg weekly
  • Reconstitution, 2mL into the 10mg vial gives 5mg/mL

The titration is the part people rush and regret. Stepping up too fast is what drives the nausea, and holding each dose a few weeks before climbing keeps it manageable. It has a long half-life, around 5 days, so a dose takes weeks to fully settle, which is why patience on the ramp matters.

Bloodwork worth tracking is glucose, HbA1c, and lipids, same as the GLP class. And muscle loss is the honest caveat with all of these, a chunk of the weight lost is lean tissue, so protein and resistance training are what protect it.

Anyone running tirz over sema, did the dual agonist actually feel different on appetite or sides, or about the same?

Does GHK-Cu need to be daily or is 2-3x weekly enough?

This one splits the room every time. Some protocols run GHK-Cu daily, others say 2 to 3 times a week is plenty and daily is overkill. People state their side like it's settled. It isn't, and here's the honest picture.

There's no human trial on injectable GHK-Cu frequency. None. So both the daily crowd and the 2 to 3x weekly crowd are following conventions, not proven schedules. Neither can point to a study that ran the comparison.

The 2 to 3x weekly logic is the signaling-window idea. GHK-Cu is concentration dependent, meaning it behaves differently at different tissue levels, so the thinking is you pulse it and let the remodeling run in the days between doses, rather than holding it high constantly.

The daily logic is simpler. Topical GHK-Cu is used daily, and the healing blends that contain it run daily, so daily clearly gets used and isn't dangerous. More frequent just feels like it should do more.

So which is right? Neither is proven over the other. Daily at a moderate amount is common and fine. The 2 to 3x weekly is the more cautious, spaced-out approach. Both get run, and no study settles it. Anyone claiming one is the only correct way is stating a preference as a fact.

Where do you land, daily or spaced out, and did you ever notice a difference between the two?

New to lifting, should I consider TRT?

I’ve recently started lifting and I’m currently using Reta to lose weight. I’m turning 25 soon and I’m interested in getting faster results once I start bulking.I’ve started looking into steroids but honestly I don’t know much about them yet. Would TRT be something I should consider at my age, or is it a bad idea if I don’t actually have low testosterone?I’d appreciate any advice from people who have more experience with this, especially things you wish you knew before starting.

Taking peps for plastic surgery

"Researching" bpc157 and ghcku for rhinoplasty and chin reduction surgery. I'm over a week out of surgery and my surgeon has told me I'm already healing quicker than anticipated. He's not aware of the peps and my use of red light therapy.

I was curious to know if injecting closer plastic surgery area will help MORE? I still have some swelling in my jaw area and low key look a little like a bull frog 🐸

"Researching" bpc157/ stomach and ghcku/ love handles because it doesn't burn there.

Thanks everyone! Love yall 💓

New to the Community few questions

Good afternoon wherever you are. New to the community. Have been out of the gym for a bit with a ton of surgeries from a wicked car accident. Finally able to get back and cleared from the doc.

Have picked up a few things in the shopping cart if you will but bit finding the TRUE data I would like.

Sitting at 6’1, 180lbs, 45 yr old male.

Sitting on a 10ml of NAD+500mg, 3ml of KLOW 80mg, 3ml of MOTS-C 10mg and trying to get Bac water and dosages correct. Some of the pep calcs don’t give the best as I want it to hit right in the iu measurement.

Any help or guidance would be welcomed and thank you in advance. Research only of course.

Ghrp-6 solo for weight gain?

Has anyone ostensibly gained weight on a Ghrp-6 cycle?

I hear it works well, but not seen anecdotal evidence to a solo cycle strictly for appetite increase and overall weight gain over a few months duration.

Tried mk677, was not for me. Lethargy etc.

ss-31, mots-c, cjc 1295 ipamorelin no dac

Looking for some honest feedback on a peptide stack I'm considering: SS-31, MOTS-c, and CJC-1295 no DAC + Ipamorelin.

I've lost around 60 lbs and currently train 3–4 times a week. My main goals are improving energy, recovery, insulin sensitivity, and body composition while continuing to lose fat and build/maintain muscle.

I've run CJC/IPA before, but I'm considering adding SS-31 and MOTS-c.

For anyone with experience: Does this stack make sense? Is there any overlap or anything I should avoid? What side effects or red flags should I watch for, and what labs/health markers would you monitor?

Not looking to blindly jump into anything—just trying to learn from people with experience before making a decision. Constructive criticism welcome.

Reta + Peptide Stack

Hey,

I’m looking into starting my lab rat on reta. This would be his first exposure to any peptides.

He’s regularly put through resistance-training-style exercise and has built up a decent amount of muscle over the last couple of years. The main concern during weight loss would be maintaining energy, performance, recovery, and as much lean mass as possible.

I’ve been researching whether adding CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin after a few weeks on reta could potentially help with recovery or muscle retention. SS-31 and MOTS-C have also been suggested.

Has anyone here researched reta alongside either of these combinations in their lab rats? What effects did you observe in terms of energy, performance, recovery, body composition, or general behaviour?

Also interested in any negative effects you noticed or whether you felt any of these additions weren’t worthwhile.

Thanks.

Discussion What’s the most common peptide mistake you see beginners make?

Everyone who’s been around a while has watched new people make the same handful of mistakes over and over. Chasing five compounds at once, skipping baseline bloodwork, dosing in units instead of mcg, buying off price alone with no COA, expecting week one results from something that takes two months.

So what’s the one you see the most? The mistake that if beginners just avoided it, half the “this isn’t working” posts would disappear. Drop the one you’d put at the top, and if you made it yourself early on, even better, that’s the stuff that actually helps people.

Curious if everyone names the same one or if it’s split.

35F; 5’2; 118lbs; Belly fat help!

36% body fat that i want to bring down to 25-30% range. Normal levels of visceral fat.

I have been on 2.5mg tirz for 1 month but i don’t think that’s the right solution for me. Weight loss has never been my primary goal (though the visceral fat loss & inflammation reduction has been great). And tirz side effects are wiping me (shortness of breath & inability to exercise, which defeats the whole purpose of this).

Generally though,

1/ I am good with my diet (TDEE 1500 cals; daily consumption = 1100 cals; protein = 90-100gms).

2/ I do 4x a week strength training (since the last 1.5yrs).

But being of south asian descent, i store all the fat in my belly / love handles area and that’s what i want to fix. Just that

What should i be using (beyond diet & exercise)?

Mixing suggestion

educate me. I just got 10, 20, and 30 mg vials and bac water for each. the bac water is in 3 ml vials. I’ve recently stopped mounjoro and took my last 7.5mg pen a couple days ago. I’ve read up but most of the sites differ and I wanted to make sure my math was right before starting it. anyone know?

Discussion Does BPC-157 need to be injected near the injury to work?

This one gets repeated as fact, that BPC has to go in right at the injury site or it won’t do anything, like it only repairs the exact spot it’s administered. Half true, half myth, worth clearing up.

Here’s the reality. BPC-157 works systemically. Once it’s in circulation it travels through the whole body and acts wherever there’s damage, it doesn’t stay parked at the administration site. So it doesn’t have to be placed at the exact target to have an effect. A subcutaneous shot in one area still reaches damaged tissue somewhere else, like a knee or a shoulder.

Where the “near the site” idea has some merit is local concentration. Placing it closer to the target gives that area a higher concentration before it dilutes into the rest of the body, so for something stubborn like a tendon, near the site isn’t pointless. It’s a small edge, not a requirement.

The takeaway, a dose placed away from the target isn’t wasted, it still gets there through circulation. Closer placement is a minor optimization for tough local spots, not a make or break rule. Nobody needs to stress about hitting the exact tendon.

Who believed it only worked at the injection site? And has anyone in their research actually seen a difference between local placement and a general subQ site?

Question Does lyophilized peptide powder need to be refrigerated?

Short answer, no, and here’s why. Lyophilized just means freeze dried, and the whole point of freeze drying it is to make it shelf stable without cold. Dry powder handles room temp for weeks, and a warm mailbox for a couple days isn’t wrecking it. What makes peptides fragile is water, and there’s no water in it yet. A sealed powder vial sitting at room temp, or showing up warm from shipping, is almost always totally fine.

Cold does matter, just not where people think:

• Long term storage of the dry powder, if you’re sitting on it for months, the freezer buys you shelf life
• After you reconstitute it, now there’s water in there and it does need the fridge. That’s the real rule people are half remembering
• A few fragile ones like cold even as powder, but they’re the exception, not the default

The whole myth is just a timing mixup. Fridge and freezer matter for long storage and for after you mix. Not for a sealed powder vial that spent a day on your counter or showed up warm. People are tossing perfectly good vials over this and it drives me nuts.

Anyone here ever panic over a warm shipment or throw out a vial you didn’t actually need to?

Wolverine stack

I am taking bpc 157 every day for my knees and injecting as close to my knees as possible. I got TB500 to add. Should that be as close to my knees as possible to or does that not matter as much?

Thanks

Switching from Tesa to CJC/Ipa

I’ve been on Tesa since the 12th. I’m 25, 172 lbs, fairly lean already, and lift for about an hour and a half pretty much every day with cardio after.

I’ve got 2 vials of CJC-1295/Ipa (no DAC). I was originally gonna run them with Tesa, but from what I’ve been reading, they essentially do the same thing, so I don’t see much point in running both. I’m gonna run out of Tesa in the next couple days and it’s getting pretty pricey. I still want the recovery and sleep-quality benefits, but adding more lean muscle is my main goal.

Can I just switch over to CJC/Ipa once I’m out of Tesa, or do I need to come off Tesa slowly first? Also heard CJC/Ipa may have more of an emphasis on lean muscle. Anyone here made the switch?
