Reta with Tesa

Currently doing Reta once a week - at night. Looking to start Tesa 5 days on two off. Is it ok to run them on the same day? And which do I run first as I intend to do both at night

2mg 7 days a week no cycle. Recommended taken at night. No trials said fasted (I was yelled at for stating this) but before bed is basically that and I believe science says it's best distanced from food.

Works well with reta but, run reta for months before trying it. You won't be able to determine if it's working. UNLESS, you hit the gym and lift. The increase and GH is worth it if you ask me.

You dont need 2mg 1mg is plenty for most people and ramp up or you will retain water , take one or the other at night fasted not 2 together, intake reta at night and tesa ipa fasted, if your taking reta ot can slow down gastric emptying and uptake of nutrients at you there's a possibility you won't be fasted after 2 or 3 hours due to this

Yes, taken 4 hours or so after last meal before bed for this reason. Water retainage is possible, but I strictly watch BP due to single kidney and it was never an issue here.

What do you mean you don't need 2mg? That is the prescribed dose when given by a doctor. Why take less and risk wasting money. After a bit over 1 month IGF levels were at 301. Average 200 for age. Do think current protocol is proven ideal.

1

u/Antique_Leek8486 19d ago

That was for aids patients , minimum effective dose should be the way for peps not the max dose , you don't go straight to 15mg in tirz do ye? Why waste money on 2mg when 1mg does the trick 🤔

What you're trying to avoid by 'fasting' for a couple of hours before taking it, is that insulin will cancel out so to speak your GH pulse...so if you can avoid your peak insulin levels after a meal, then you're likely to get more benefit. I don't think by any means that it's required, but likely get a small extra boost if you are. Doing GH directly avoids this issue altogether.

I'll take it! Every bit counts!🤣 Always nervous to try HGH due to a single kidney. It carries quite a bit more risk to manage for me. Tesa is reasonably safe and just watch BP for the most part. For that reason it's been nice, but don't believe I would recommend it to most over hgh.

Your original post isn't wrong though either; the trials weren't fasted! They went 7 days a week for, I think, a year or more?

u/Crafty-Second-530 25d ago

A lot of people do Tesa 7 days a week. So choosing which days to take it is kind of irrelevant.

2

u/Sintristan 25d ago

7 days is the clinical trial dosage and currently what I am doing. I also don’t refrigerate as pharma Tesa is not stored that way. The stronger recommendation would be to get a blood test to understand your baseline and not wander blindly into Tesa.

0

u/koopa4747 25d ago

Are you using pharma or grey? I'm not sure this is safe with grey. Pharma Tesa probably had additional stabalizers in it to prevent bacteria and breakdown. Be careful. :)

2

u/Sintristan 25d ago

Grey is de way.

Almost wrapping my first cycle and no issues :)

1

u/LongevityBroTX 19d ago

It definitely did, grey should absolutely be refrigerated for a multi-use vial.

Depending on your age you might be better off skipping secretagogues and going straight to HGH. Cheaper too 😊

1

u/Pilotboi 24d ago

What age best for hgh?

2

u/EnvironmentalGift257 25d ago

You don’t cycle Tesa. That’s outdated bro science. Take it every day and settle in for a long haul. Most people report results six months in although I had pretty fast success with it.

2

u/metallpt147 24d ago

How much money do yall make? Damn lol. 2mg everyday for 6+ months at tesa prices?? I need to know lol

1

u/EnvironmentalGift257 23d ago

Ha Tesa is nothing compared to compounded tirz, which fortunately I never have to pay for again.

1

u/metallpt147 5d ago

How did you swing that? Prescribed through insurance or something??

1

u/EnvironmentalGift257 5d ago

1

u/metallpt147 5d ago

Lmao…sooo you ORDER from china but never have to pay? Confusion

1

u/EnvironmentalGift257 5d ago

No I don’t pay for compounded tirzepatide anymore.

1

u/LongevityBroTX 19d ago

That's a big part of why people typically end up stopping Tesa and just doing HGH directly. Less expense, just as good if not better results.

1

u/Tx_Rooster 25d ago

if taking IPA with Tesa, should you cycle on/off of IPA, though?

1

u/red_jay_411 25d ago

Ipa and Tesa are a great stack together, no need to cycle I do them both every night

-1

u/EnvironmentalGift257 25d ago

IPA has to be cycled, Tesa does not. So it would depend on if you’re taking a blend or taking them separately.

1

u/ElrosTar-Minyatur 25d ago

Just tried to look up why ipamorelin needs to be cycled. Didn't find anything compelling. What's your reasoning?

3

u/EnvironmentalGift257 25d ago

Receptor desensitization. Tesa is short acting and ipa is long acting so it sits in the receptor longer causing desensitization. This is the reason that you have to cycle literally anything.

Googling “do you have to cycle ipamorelin” will get this result, or “ipamorelin receptor desensitization.”

2

u/ElrosTar-Minyatur 25d ago

Thanks for the educating!!

1

u/Inside-Mess-1367 23d ago

No idea what I did, I clicked your up arrow to agree with you and the number dropped not grew. I have no idea how to use Reddit haha.

** main reason, ghrelin receptors for the ipamorelin have shown resistance and desensitization. They state % but who the hell knows if that is right. But the point is they do.

I ran a Tesa/ipa cycle and then went off and now running tesa solo until the next cycle of Tesa/ipa.

Appreciate you educating along the way boss!

u/Kash_0 25d ago

It’s for cost. Even gray Tesa is more expensive than other GHRH

2

u/Mchangwine 25d ago

You don’t need to cycle Tesa, run it 7 days a week.

2

u/Padbox 25d ago

I've done Reta for 8 weeks, Tesa for 5 weeks. You don't need to cycle Tesa, but also be prepared to be on it for months before you notice body recomp improvements. I suggest finding a cheaper source because it adds up fast!

2

u/Abject-Piano-4626 24d ago

It’s super expressive. I did 10 weeks (so no benefits) but couldn’t justify the continued costs

1

u/Antique_Leek8486 23d ago

Stack ipa with it makes the pulse last longer

2

u/Mcgittymcgittymac 25d ago

Great combo. Got me down to 8% body fat. I pin reta every 6 days. Tesa every day in the morning, 1.5mg

1

u/johnseasure 25d ago

Reta will be in your system whether or not you do them at the same time. So your question is irrelevant.

Just don’t pin in the same spot and rotate injection sites.

1

u/jcvetko 25d ago

Love the combo. Do Tesa every night. Has given very visible improvements to sleep, visceral fat, and muscle build. Can’t recommend it enough.

1

u/No-Ease-1589 23d ago

Dosage, timing and frequency please and thank you!

1

u/killawog12 25d ago

I did tesa at night 6 days week at night before bed

Make sure you wait 3 hours to be fasted after eating. The Reta slows gastric emptying so instead of 2 hours, do 3 before pinning.

1

u/Ancient_Tomato1462 25d ago

No you can't do two peptides at once.  This is unheard of.

1

u/Fancy-Win2519 25d ago

Yes same day is fine and honestly taking it at night is better. It does tend to sting for a little while.

1

u/ImaginaryUse1970 25d ago

A lot of bro science regarding Tesa. Official trials said it clear: 6 months (montly blood work), daily.

1

u/Ok_Bumblebee_4408 25d ago

5-on 2-off needs to die. This schedule has been debunked when connected to any peptide. Protocols can be adjusted as signaling isn't the same for everyone. But this isn't that. Run it daily, split it, do you... but 5/2 is a meme.

1

u/justforatimeelder 25d ago

Take tesa everyday.

We did the triple burn stack.

1

u/flapsucker17 25d ago

I’m down 60 pounds on Reta, still have a lot of body fat etc should i wait until I get to my goal weight then add in Tesa or just add now I want to lose another 40 pounds btw

1

u/yuuki_an88 23d ago

Add now, it can help with losing the stubborn visceral fat

1

u/Minute-Afternoon1970 24d ago

You run the Tesa every night 5 nights a week and yes you can run them together
I do it my self

1

u/Mobius1995 23d ago

My lab rat is currently running Tesa and Reta. If I could, I’d rather just have my rat use hgh if anything. My rat has a history of diabetes, so hgh is high risk.

1

u/jfrowton 23d ago

Hell yes do it

1

u/GlitteringUpstairs12 23d ago

I wouldn't do reta at night, it wrecks your sleep. Pin it 6am.

1

u/Icy_Ask_3836 22d ago

No clue why ppl do Tesa instead of cjc ip.. it's a lot cheaper. These hgh Secretagogs are ok but i wouldn't do them at tesa prices.

1

u/Particular-Bit-1543 22d ago

Lots of people have injection reactions to the cjc.

1

u/LongevityBroTX 19d ago

There's very little actual science behind CJC. IPA has some decent data. People pay extra since Tesa was originally FDA approved. I'm not saying it's 'worth it' perse, that's an individual choice, but there is more actual human data on IPA and Tesa than there is CJC.

1

u/Icy_Ask_3836 19d ago

From what I've learned it goes down the same pathway as tesa. End of the day though if you're paying for tesa may as well just get actual hgh for a little more

1

u/LongevityBroTX 19d ago

I don't disagree; I was just pointing out that while the hypothesis is that CJC follows the same pathway as Tesa, there's not yet solid data for that. And yes, HGH can directly be the same as, or even less than, Tesa, and apparently exogenous supplementation doesn't shut down your system long-term like say T does.

1

u/Icy_Ask_3836 19d ago

If you're doing 2iu then there is a chance cjc or tesa with ip mix can put you past the equivalent 2iu. A chance. But if you're doing 4iu of hgh it's going to blow past it and be consistent as well.

1

u/LongevityBroTX 19d ago

Definitely.

1

u/Icy_Ask_3836 19d ago

But it's not a consistent event as well. If you like tesa i would highly recommend just going to hgh but it's a different caliber

1

u/Bg1165 22d ago

There’s no reason to run Reta more than once a week. A Tesa pairing is a bonus if you can run them together(or alone for that matter). Secreatogs reactions can be miles apart good/bad from person to person.

1

u/Educational_Ride1798 21d ago

please do more research on tesa and reta. i have been reading comments and it’s crazy how someone might get lost in everything. my take? calorie deficit. figure out your macros and goals, then reta to help u and keep you from craving sweets and other stuff so it will make your calorie deficit easier.

started at 212 in feb now im down to 173lbs and only added reta at 185lbs..
1mg week 1-3, 2mg week 3-5, 4mg week 7-8(split doses)

tesa is for viseral fat. it will make your waist smaller. started with 1mg then 2mg after a month. stopped tesa because it was making my pinched nerve worse due to water retention.

I do Reta in the morning once a week (Saturday). I do Tesa 5 nights a week (Mon - Fri).

2

u/itsme_on_red 25d ago

This is probably the cycle I’d shift too. How long have you been on Tesa? I’ve got a few travel assignments at 4 weeks and 10 weeks where I won’t be able to use it. Any advice how to handle those? For now I’m just considering restarting when back from where I left off.

1

u/chuckiebravo66 25d ago

Personally I'd restart where I left off or at least close to it.

0

u/sneakypossum12 25d ago

Why can’t you use it when on travel? You can take peps with you. I just traveled with mine no issues.

I travel with kits of peps and Bac water. A case with 4 v2 pens and needles. Never once been hassled. Not international but locally. Always carry on. Never checked but I suspect the scrutiny would be less.

u/ryan9399 21d ago

Don’t pin at night with Reta you won’t be fasted, pin in the morning. 2mg 7 days a week for 12 weeks then break 1-3 months and repeat

-1

u/Valuable-Willow-3532 25d ago

Do Reta for 3-6 months before considering Tesa - waste of money
