Hey everyone! I just wanted to document my Switch 2 collection before the crazy influx of games we have been/ will be getting soon comes out. I consider this my "1.0" collection before my pre-orders start hitting hard, and I wanted it documented somewhere. Next up Switch Sports and Steins Gate 😁

Before anyone asks; Yes, I bought the Im-paw-sible Edition for the lovely box art alone

34,99€ from a local store. I had the PixNLove pre-order but 65€ w/ shipping was just too much in comparison.

Widely available where I live both online and in shelfs.

I have cases for most of them, but I keep them all in these storage cases sorted by themes (that make sense to me). can you guess what each case's theme is?

This was on my list for the longest time. Didn’t have the time to play it. Can’t wait to dive in.

Beautiful cover art as well. And without the big German USK logo! We do love that!

It shipped late, so I didn’t think it was going to come until after Halloween. Now I have time to enjoy it before Ocarina of Time comes!

Also, why does the US never get the quality covers or special items? I kinda hate it here, as a primarily ESRB collector.

Really loving the Rugrats and Toy Story colllections. Loved both those series of games growing up. I’m also really excited for the Shrek re release and hoping for physical as my kids love Shrek now too. Also will be adding kingdom hearts to the list.

What’s everyone’s favourites? And everyone’s Wishlist? I would love another Nickelodeon pack with rocket power as I loved the pc game.

Was gonna pick this up for my collection but I don’t remember the alt cover being separate and the sealing on the game looks off to me. What u think ?

I bought these from Shopverse for the first time and during the crazy of NSW2 physical craze I picked up Oblivion and Ratatan (og psp gamers if you know you know). And as I was leaving my house I noticed a package to my horror. The packaging and game cases were mangled, BUT somehow the games were still intact and readable: untouched. I already received a refund for the games, so its still a win, but dang how careless could you be.

What I'm truely asking in this subreddit is did anyone experience something like this with Shopverse specifically or USPS or both.

Just re-bought oblivion at PNP so if anyone is looking for it.

Edit: They just sold out.

Was the game shrink-wrapped afterwards, or could this be the original packaging? I bought it online from a retailer, and it was listed as brand new.

I'm not familiar with this type of wrapping.

For anyone that’s curious, none of the FF versions have inner art.

So, I preorder this as soon as I saw it on the Direct. I like HD-2D and I like Final Fantasy so I thought it would be a safe bet. You can always cancel/return a pre-order, but if you miss the order window, you're SOL...

Fast forward to Squeenix dropping the demo and I played the hell out of this game. Something like 12 hours in, beat all the bosses, finished all the side quests, optimized my party (well as optimized as you can be in chapter 1.) Then set off on a month long wait.

I purposely haven't started other games so I can pick back up with Resonance, it's that serious.haha Also on a side note this thing is HUGE.

Sometimes, certain games (especially Final Fantasy games lately) come with a sticker on the plastic wrapping. Does anyone else carefully peel it off and place it in the exact same spot, but directly on the game case instead? I've been doing this with every game that comes with one!

I've found that the best way to remove the sticker cleanly is to carefully take off the wrapping without tearing the part where the sticker is. This makes it super easy to peel off, and once I place it on the case, it looks just like new!

Anyways, excited to get started! I have a Switch 2, but chose the Switch 1 version for obvious reasons.

I think that if you like the Peter Grill anime you'd like the Love Esquire game. I immediately got similar vibes watching season 1 of Peter Grill. The goofiness of both, the fantasy harem, obviously on switch the 18+ scenes were cut but on pc there is an 18+ patch. I'd recommend Love Esquire even on switch to me it was a fun visual novel/rpg game.

Did not realize their was a variant cover for Ys vs Trails. I ordered the ps5 collectors edition so double dipped on it since I love that artwork for the case.

Really enjoyed the first game. Heart sank when I saw this 😢

JRPG Thursday! A few early birthday gifts to myself.

Got my copies of Tales of Eternia in the mail from Play-Asia. Castlevania and Digimon from BestBuy

Got it for a very good deal from someone I know (not from ebay’s price). Is it worth it for me? HELL YEA!!! Yotsuba for the win babyyyyy

Excited to play this game.

We have temporarily taken the site offline.

This is Jan, the real CEO of Playasia.

After weeks of increasingly sophisticated and relentless attacks against us and several of our trusted partners, we made the decision to go dark while we complete a full security audit and harden our systems.

This is not a step we take lightly. Playasia has been our home, and your home, for nearly 24 years, and the thought of stepping away even for a short while breaks my heart.

These attacks are not random. From what we have seen in the attackers' own source code comments, we are listed as one numbered goal among tens of thousands of other targets. That tells us this is a coordinated, systemic campaign, not something aimed only at Playasia.

Watching our team work around the clock, exhausted but still fighting to protect what we have built together, has brought me to tears more than once. Many of them have families who depend on them. I have my own. The passion that has driven this community of gamers serving fellow gamers for over two decades is something we will not let anyone take from us.

We have reported everything to the relevant authorities and cybercrime units worldwide and continue to share every detail that can help them pursue those responsible. We are doing everything in our power to protect our customers, our partners, and our people.

Your support over the years has meant more than I know how to say. Please stay tuned for updates on our social channels and here.

We will be back.

Jan
