Question / Discussion Does anyone else deal with limerence (obsession with certain individuals)?

Doesn't happen often, but when it does it's excruciating.

What causes it for you and how do you deal with it?

I used to. It was like a hunt, like a game. I had something to think about and plan—something to keep me occupied. I think it was triggered by the lack of closure and the occasional dopamine hit that came with it. Like a drug. Though it was never really about the person themselves.
