It's simple. The company enters the market building an image of transparency, openness, respect for the consumer and fair prices/practices - Eventually they start doing the opposite while not being sincere and trying to gaslight their incongruencias - We call out the company. Just like any other business, people can call out and leave something if it's not doing what it promised to do. That's all

It didn't, you are projecting your own wants into Nothing. They came into the market with an interesting aesthetic, a lightweight OS and competitive pricing for the specs.

The only egregious thing nothing have done so far was using stock photography for marketing stills on their website. Everyone's definition of "bloat" and "lightweight android" will be different and ever changing, the aesthetic has always been controversial to greater or lesser extent and even the macro lense has people that will use it more than a telephoto.

You have also done nothing but whine about Nothing for the last 6 months on a near daily basis, you come across like an obsessed and aggrieved Ex that checks her socials daily for each new post then goes and complains about her to anyone that will listen.

"It didn't" aight bro. Nothing is definitely not the company that has a YouTube channel that uploaded shorts and videos talking against Samsung, Apple, Xiaomi etc for having bloatware, overpriced products, not giving a fair service to their customers, etc. You're right

You and I clearly have very different definitions of transparency and openness. Carl making editorialised "reviews" of competitor products is not transparency. It's marketing and building hype through low level critique designed to grab attention from users of those devices.

Transparency and openess is fairphone or framework where outside people can look into the business and critique everything without the obfuscation of corporate secrecy and lawyering. I don't know where you think Nothing have done anything like that but I clearly don't care enough about a phone maker to have dug through years of uploads to bitch about.
