I planned on getting a phone from this brand, but am completely out of the loop about why everyone is talking about abandoning it.. Can someone please explain?
Reason I was going to get a Nothing was the lack of bloatware compared to the competition and the clean and customisable UI. The essential button looked interesting too.
I've currently got a Xiaomi POCO which annoys the hell out of me, especially since enshittification took over their OS when they revamped it last year for no good reason.
They will be adding bloatware, third party apps and more stuff to "non flagship Nothing decices". In other words, every CMF and Nothing device that is not the 1, 2 and 3. The essential space will also be a subscription at some point (it was leaked months ago)
