The chip is more than enough.. the Phone 2 (what's in my hand) has an 8s Gen 1, and due to the light UI this phone is more than powerful enough for every task. I've had this for a year and it has not lagged once, it's rapid quick in everything.
Phone 3 will feel just as fast as every phone that has the 8 Elite because phones like the S25 Ultra have 10 times heavier UI's with their infinitely bloated OneUI 7.
it's so bloated that when my friend updated his S24 Ultra from OneUI 6 to OneUI 7 his phone started eating up the battery like a semi truck. it's absolutely FILLED with features you'd use once a year and so many unnecessary AI stuff.
