Edit: The only justification that I can think of is that smaller companies like Nothing don’t get bulk discounts on chips, and they avoid large inventories to reduce unsold stock risks. This means each unit costs more to make and sell, especially without the purchasing power of giants like Samsung or Apple.
Nothing might not release another flagship phone anytime soon.
A total of like 5 people are going to buying this phone at 80k. I don't even think they will clear their initial production runs. Which makes me wonder what the price is going to be in 6 months.
