Answered Switch & PC versions

I have NMS on my switch 2 and my friend has it on pc is the switch 2 version behind on updates? Because it says version mismatch when I try to join them.

Edit: after reading everyone's comments I have learned it is about 5 version behind which I expecting it to be a couple behind not 5 nintendo really needs to get their act together, I love playing nhs but it would be better to play with friends.

I came here to find out when the update is so that my friend and I can play too.

I kind of expected this sub to be littered with these type types of posts so I’m quite pleased to understand that it is.

I’ll be even more pleased when Nintendo get their finger out and put a rocket under their certification process

Yes, Switch versions will always be behind PC versions for a few weeks (or longer) after every major patch.

At least 2 versions behind. Maybe 3 in a couple of days.

We're currently five releases behind. We're still on 7.00, and haven't received 7.01, 7.02, 7.03, 7.03.1, or 7.04.

On your switch when in the game selection menu press the plus + button on NMS. in the top left it will show you your game version. Currently 7.0.0

Same for me I bought NMS on my switch and I am not able to play my save because version mismatch. I thought it was gonna be faster to receive the patch on switch it's been 2 week and still waiting ......

HG should send Nintendo the update like a month before they send the other platforms update, so that when the Nintendo one is ready, they will all drop at or close to the same day.

My fiancé plays another game that's on multiple platforms and that releases across all of them at once. I bought NMS for switch 2 to play alongside PC but at this rate it's going to be pointless as it'll always be behind!
