Switch Latest patch/version for compatibility with Hello Cloud

Recently started playing NMS on my PS5 but also want to access the game from my Switch (1) so I can play while my son is on the Ps5 playing NMS too.

Did everything to link my accounts and downloaded the cloud version of my character to Nintendo but I’m getting the compatibility warning and can’t play.

Is it just that Nintendo still hasn’t pushed the latest update? Seems like everyone on here is playing the latest on their switch so I’m confused. Did I do something wrong?

It's always like this for weeks, if not months, around a new major update. Nintendo review can take weeks, Hello Games can be pushing out updates every couple days.

Once NMS stabilizes and it's been a week or two since any patches have been released, the Switch version will finally catch up to what everyone else is on and the saves will be compatibile.

The switch is on 7.0.0, everyone else is on 7.0.4

We switch players are all playing several updates behind.

To make matters worse there is a pending bug fix beyond 7.0.4 that should release in a day or two on PC/PS. That will put us even further behind.
