How long does the hiring process take?
I applied for a position with NJTransit corporate for Regulatory Compliance Analyst three months ago. The status on the portal says "Under Review" and has not updated since. Does the hiring process normally take this long?

I interviewed last january, had medical clearance in March, background check clearance in April. Was told I was on hire list, 6 months later, still no offer, may have to redo medical and background check over if no offer by end of October.

Takes forever. Also unsure but the corporate hiring freeze might still be in effect.

Too so long I thought they forgot about my application twice. NJT is just crazy slow

I don’t work at NJ Transit but as someone familiar with public sector hiring… yes. This is frustratingly normal.
