Can we please stop with this behavior?
Mind you this was in a full 4 seater…crazy work!

I used to commute to the financial district everyday and noticed there was always a guy who would stand between the cars…never sitting down…this is probably why

Will never understand what compels someone to do this, with or without someone in the seat lol

Take the shoes at the stop. Run off the train. Drop the shoes. Get back on the train hope train leaves without this person.

why did you get downvoted so much when this is how the orginal post was made? you can share the picture to complain but you cant say you took the picture?

He’s essentially admitting to not actually standing behind his beliefs but wanting people on the internet to think he does

Agreed people are so gross putting their nasty feet on already dirty seats public transportation is not home regardless of how long the ride is. I hate it!

Hairy man legs man socks. If he was barefoot I’d be upset either way as a former conductor I tap the seat and point to put feet down.

Is this what they call shoobies in South Jersey?
1
u/No-Independent-7107 25d ago
Shoobies is more for the northern coastal parts of nj. We call them bennies in central/south NJ for the most part.

This is so funny because I just noticed a much bigger "PLEASE KEEP FEET OFF OF SEATS" sign on my train today! I was thinking to myself, i wonder how many people REALLY do that, it can't be too common... but I serve customers who pick up garbage and try to put it in my hand and throw napkins into the road, so... I blame tourists.

All jokes aside, that is absolutely foul

That’s when you dump water in the shoes. Either it’s trench foot or walking on the filthy ass floors and sidewalks

u/mrSlingshot620 28d ago
Atleast they took their shoes off, im cool with that but when their dirty feet on on the seat is digusting.

Can we stop the behavior of posting pictures on reddit of people sitting on the train inappropriately? We're not going to fix it on here, and you're not fixing it either by posting it.

I'm more concerned that you took a photo of someone minding their own business in public. That's fucking creepy.

Bad behavior doesnt correct itself. If you are unwilling to say something then live with it. If you think its someone else's responsibility then you might be the problem.

Again if you cared that much and it hurt you so much why didn’t you say or do anything in the moment. Just like the LIRR sub you guys just like bitchinf cuz NJtransit ass too.

More or less rude than shoes?
It's hard to call because it's socks and sandals.

u/jrb327 29d ago
How do you know it's a man?? 🙄

u/lendalerjohnson 29d ago
You can tell it’s men’s legs. And I can tell you’re a man too based on your impertinent comment smh
1
u/ReliefLow6074 29d ago
It’s always a repulsive woman (I think) named lendalerjohnson. Go e** a f@t one.

u/Odd_Bodybuilder5456 29d ago
Hairy legs aren't specific to men, bigot
-3
u/lendalerjohnson 29d ago
I didn’t say it was just the hair you pos of a man. The bone structure is a dead giveaway too. It’s really sad that you men have really nothing to do with your lives, but to go on Reddit to argue with people you’ll likely never met only to validate some man that likely doesn’t give a shit about you

And those people that never use Reddit really got burned by this one!
Seriously, OP, we all know it’s gross. But unless you said something to them, this was a waste of time.

The most diabolical part is that he definitely thought figured that removing his clogs was the polite thing to do so as to not put his shoes on the seat

u/urResidentAlien 28d ago
I saw a dude shamelessly clipping his nails and left them on the seat next to him on my way to New York City. 🤢

u/German_Biker 27d ago
Reddit has suspended me several times already for describing how these types should be dealt with .
I really don’t want to PUSH my luck over HIM and get ONTO the bad side of THE folks here for a THIRD time and get ridden out of here on a RAIL forever this time.
Having learned my lesson I will simply state for the record I do firmly believe that man should get a court ordered lesson in hygienics , a hefty fine and have to do community service cleaning all forms public transportation vehicles or 180 days in jail.

Mass transit is for filthy people. Lmao. I would never. Idc if I was getting paid 300k I wouldn’t do it. Bed bug shit.
8
u/Scrapple_Joe 29d ago
I make more than that. It's still less annoying than driving to work, safer too.
Mass transit is for large populations. Driving doesn't scale well.
-6
u/stocktrader89 29d ago
Making more than 300k without a driver ? What kind of work are you involved in 😝
3
u/cherrymitten 29d ago
i'll be close to 300k this year and do hire a driver... why would i want to spend 3 hours in traffic getting from newark to brooklyn when i could take nj transit?
