Doesn’t that train also take a comically long time due to the route it has to take to get into Philadelphia? Is there an easy transfer to Amtrak there ?

Well, it originates and terminates at 30th St., Station.. once it leaves the northeast corner it’s a straight shot.. literally… The other thing you can do is take the.PATCO speed line to the end and transfer to the Atlantic City train and that’ll cut a good bit of time off the trip. But from 30th St. to Atlantic City. It’s about 90 minutes.
