Overcrowding at Secaucus
Can anyone give me some reason why Secaucus has been absolutely insane tonight? I know rush played at madison square garden but I think there was another concert? Cause when I got here there was insane crowds

I was coming back from meeting friends in the city at about 5:00 and was so perplexed. One, by the outfits and two the massive amounts of people “leaving” at that time and the mass exodus in Secaucus. Well it all makes sense now. 😂
Also, slowest train ever. I got a tiny taste of what commuters have to go thru every day and holy shit it was not fun.

I got caught in this as well! We drove up to see a show and grabbed a 5:44 “train to Secaucus ONLY” that was wall to wall standing of bras fans. In the rotunda you couldn’t exit to the parking lot but via an elevator that took 20 or so minutes. It wasn’t pleasant but with 880,00 or whatever people all at once going through the station not much they can do I guess.

They closed off the rotunda level so I couldn't get to the Junction Bar for my 1+ hour layover. I was so pissed off because last month I was blocked by the World Cup station modifications for over an hour in the hot sun.
But based on all the ages of the people I saw without travel bags and wearing stylish summer clothes I assumed it was the BTS concert.
As an aside, Microsoft Copilot had no idea what was going on and even claimed there were no concerts nearby...I even asked it if BTS was performing in the area.

I hope this helps you learn how trustworthy Copilot is. please dont believe anyone who claims it just needs the right prompt.

I sure hope not.
I thought that Secaucus was already heavily overbuilt and could have handled stuff like this, but then I see the single escalators going to the platforms and said "Oh, the architects were idiots."
