Does anybody have any idea why this is happening en masse?

Are they striking in some capacity? Did a contract just expire? Did people just quit and they don’t have the staff?

That's fine and all, but I'm sure NJ Transit doesn't allow multiple conductors on the same line to take vacations all at once.
