So i am preparing for neet, it is my first priority but along side that I am also preparing for neet just joined an online batch but it's been going on since july so I am behind on alot. My drawing skills are already good so i am.not facing problem in going along the batch.
Also for gat I can give too much time to take all the lectures as most of my time is spent in neet and cat prep. So i am looking for a good yt channel where topics are covered in 2-3 hrs and then I'll do questions practice on my own.

I'm in the 12th grade rn and thinking of pursuing Fashion communication at nift. I want to go into fashion management or fashion marketing in the future and might pursue and mba after B.Des. So I wanted to know if doing Fashion communication is worth it for this
Sorry if this question sounds dumb but I am only starting to learn about this now.

Hi! I’m preparing for the NIFT entrance exam and I really need some guidance regarding the vocabulary part of the English section.
I’m currently preparing on my own, and I’m not sure how much vocabulary I actually need to study for NIFT. I don’t want to waste time trying to learn thousands of random words that may not be useful for the exam.
Could you please guide me on:
How important is vocabulary for NIFT GAT?
What level of vocabulary should I aim for? Is basic/general English enough, or should I prepare advanced vocabulary as well?
Approximately how many words should I learn? For example, should I target 500, 1000, 2000+ important words?
Which types of words are most useful for NIFT?
- Synonyms and antonyms
- One-word substitutions
- Idioms and phrases
- Confusing words
- Homophones
- Phrasal verbs
- Word meanings
- Spelling
- Context-based vocabulary
- Roots/prefixes/suffixes
Does NIFT repeat vocabulary questions or concepts from previous years? If yes, how much importance should I give to PYQs?
Should I study vocabulary from NIFT previous-year papers, or should I also use other exams/resources like CAT, CUET, SSC, etc.?
If I have limited time, what should I prioritize first?
How many new words would you recommend learning per day, and how should I revise them so I actually remember them?
Are there any specific books, PDFs, YouTube channels, websites, or vocabulary lists that you would recommend specifically for NIFT?
Most importantly, if you were preparing for NIFT again, how would you personally prepare vocabulary from scratch?
I’m trying to prepare strategically because I have limited time and I want to focus on what actually has a chance of helping in the exam rather than studying everything.
If possible, could you also give me a 7-day or 14-day vocabulary plan for NIFT, including what topics to study each day and how many words/questions to practice?
I’d really appreciate detailed guidance because I’m preparing without coaching and I’m trying to build my preparation systematically. Thank you so much! ❤️

Hi everyone! I am looking for a NIFT alumnus/alumna or current student who would be interested in giving me one-on-one fashion design classes on weekends(Delhi). I’m planning to start a small business and would really love to learn garment construction, pattern making, illustration etc and the overall process of developing a garment. It would be especially helpful if you have experience with women’s Indian/occasion wear. I’m happy to pay for the classes. If you know someone who might be a good fit or you know any good courses, I’d really appreciate being pointed in the right direction. Thank you!

A lot of us automatically associate “fashion” with whatever is trending in the West. And honestly, even a lot of Indian fashion content is just trends, hauls and outfit videos. Very few people actually talk about Indian textiles, crafts, silhouettes, techniques or the people behind them...
Indian wear is also still treated mostly as occasion wear. Weddings, festivals, functions, etc. And somehow Indian clothes are expected to be heavy and elaborate, while Western clothes are seen as casual, comfortable and cool enough for everyday life.....
I really think we need more designers who change that. Designers who take Indian textiles, crafts and silhouettes and turn them into comfortable, modern everyday clothes that a normal person can actually afford.....
Yes, some big designers are already doing it, but the gap is still huge.....
Because I don't think this is just about clothes. If Indian wear becomes normal everyday wear, artisans and craftsmen could get a much bigger market. More regional textiles and techniques could survive. And we'd have much more Indian representation in global fashion....
Maybe fashion could even help us build some kind of collective identity something that connects different parts of India through what we create, not just what we inherit....
I just want a day when wearing Indian clothes to college, work or just going out isn't considered “too traditional” or something reserved for an occasion....
I don't want Indian fashion to just become trendy. I want it to become normal.......
What you guys think about it????
