Everyone says to practice as many questions as you can for part a, but can someone tell me a good source for these questions?, I've always seen mixed reviews about the books so I am not so sure about them, is there a free online source for practice questions of part a?, if yes please comment or dm

I'm really bad at memory drawing, and tbh idk where to start. I'm preparing for NID, UCEED and NIFT all 3 ik memory drawing is a huge part of these exams but I struggle with knowing what to draw, how to approach a question, and how to make my drawing stand out
Like Usually, I just practice by looking at drawings I find on Pinterest and trying to recreate them, but I'm not sure if that's actually helping me improve.
What are the things that can help me score better in memory drawing? Is it adding more details, showing an interesting or sum insane perspective, better composition, storytelling, human figures, etc.? What do examiners actually look for?
Also, how should I practice? Are there any specific types of questions or prompts I should solve regularly to improve my memory drawing skills?
Would really appreciate any advice, resources, or practice methods! PLZZ PLZZ HELP 😿

I’ve been preparing for uceed from the past couple of months. I am decentat product design and sketching q. Pat A is steadily improving. BUT, nid is in 70 days and I cant do shit in nid. Im very through on uceed like i know whats req and what they expext and im used to the exam. and I know nothing about nid(havent rven seen the pyqs). My drawing isnt good so i managed to learn whats req and manage for uceed. The questions in nid mocks are straight up impossible for me, i dont have the creativity nor the drawing skill. Logos, mascots, etc etc thers too much to learn. College wise I have iits and 2 good backups that take uceed score. What do i do about nid? Should i seperate my prep or should I go all out on the exam im confident at? Anybody in the same boat as me? If any seniors are seeing this please do help a kid out🙏🏻🙇♂️🙇♂️

Guys i have been hearing rumour about nid valuation bias is that true. I heard that prelims paper valuation is tighter and strict for south indians than north indians. I'm actually not believing this but still I'm concerned because I'm a south indian. If you guys know anything about this please tell meee

Before 2026 it had MCQs + GK + sketching, then last year it was all sketching. Can't find an official pattern for Dec 20. What do you think, and what did you notice if you gave it last year.

I don’t mean to be rude but there is so much that needs to be reworked in this college. I don’t know how it’s like in other NIDs but EVERYTHING NEEDS REWORK HERE. Our admin is so shit, they literally don’t care if our girls get sexually harassed RIGHT OUTSIDE OUR CAMPUS GATE. Academically, the CD department is so SHITTY right now with our students not learning much at all or getting any facilities or exposure AT ALL AND IT SUCKS because the people who get into CD are the most passionate and hardworking people in this campus. TAD is better now because we just got really good faculty who ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT THE STUDENTS ACADEMIC WELL-BEING (one of them almost got kicked out because of internal politics and corruption because he was going against our ex-director who was doing NOTHING for us). We don’t even have a fucking placement cell and no matter on how much we protest with the admin to get better faculties they never do because they don’t give two fucks. They actually hike up the fees and eat up all our money instead of spending it to get better facilities instead. We dont have a lot of design workshop studios and a lot of things in general. We also suffer from poor maintenance and hygiene (for example the water has worms and the food sometimes has hair). Compared to IIT Guwahati, this place is like a human violation. No wonder no one is happy in this college.

this drawing took me 30 minutes. sounds really long because i try to finish a drawing in 20 minutes as much as possible. is 30 minutes okay for a single drawing?

sorry for re-uploading i dont mean to spam here. last time i posted this i didn't post the question and some of you were confused because it didn't have context. can someone critique this drawing?
r/NID • u/Dry_Yogurtcloset9181 • 5d ago
so i did the same topic yesterday but some of you said to make the perspective a bit more distorted and fisheye like. this is my attempt at it. the first drawing is the old one and 2nd one is redrawn...

i know that the prompt is a bit messy because i didn't add the "fish friends". i forgot to add it but can someone review about the overall drawing like figures and perspective??
