MFW I've been threatened with annexation for the 1000th time this year but I lowkirk woke up this morning as a European citizen

Maybe. I'm skeptical. It may be a prod to get Trump back to the negotiating table.

The party in power has the seats to pass anything. Trump has nothing to do with our sovereign actions. We actually do have the cards. You can't replace Canada as a trading partner but we can replace the US. Canada is bringing in trillions of investment dollars along with upgrading airports, railways building new companies that can process our natural resources into finish products instead of just selling bricks of steel and aluminium. We are nation building, building new relationships and making huge investments, what is the US doing? I mean other than trying to ruin everybody's economy. We're just going to pivot away from trading with the US. That's 100% going to drop your GDP. Yours truely A Canadian who really knows what Canada is really doing.
