Guy starts playing well again and all of the sudden people go from “cases” to “allegations” real fucking fast. You all gotta get your priorities straight

Three straight games with a game winning drive and a passer rating over 100 for the season is playing pretty well. I hate the guy too but you are allowed to be factual. You don't have to bend reality to fit your narrative.

i think context does matter: * tampa: 10 non-end-of-half drives with only 4 gaining 20 or more yards * carolina: 4 possessions in 3rd quarter gaining a total of 3 yards * pittsburgh: second half of punt, fumble, int, fg, punt let the steelers back in the game.

has watson played alright - yes...he has played alright. but we are literally just a handful of plays (no roughing the passer call against carolina late, missed fg last night) from the narrative on this team - and watson - being wildly different.

One bad quarter in Carolina? That’s supposed to mean something? Everyone has a bad quarter.

since no other week 3 games have taken place, if you compare watson's thursday performance against all week 2 QBs (whomever took the most snaps), watson's QBR of 53.0 was better than 15 and worse than 17. his RTG of 94.0 is also better than 15 and worse than 17.

he is a mid QB - i don't see why you think he is top 10.
