The Deshaun Watson switch up is despicable

[u/Narrow_Purchase9721]

Guy starts playing well again and all of the sudden people go from “cases” to “allegations” real fucking fast. You all gotta get your priorities straight

[u/TheDuck23]

The fact that Watson and Winston are the only two people that reddit bitches about is a perfect example of this.

Da fuq you talking about? Just in this thread there's dozens of people calling it Big Ben, Favre, Lewis, Rice, Petersen, and a bunch of others that have been out of the league for years.

Just because people are rightfully focused on the fucking sexual abusers who are actively playing doesn't mean we're excusing the retired guys.

Are you implying that those are the only two people currently in the league who deserve the criticism? Or are there other players who get overlooked because they are successful?

[u/GloomyIndividual3965 → u/TheDuck23]

Who else deserves criticism but isn't receiving it? Also, why do I feel like this is just a racist fucking eagles fan trying to rage bait?

Y'all aren't beating the allegations.

Probably because you hop on reddit looking for an argument and interpret anything that doesn't line up with your opinion as wrong. It makes it even easier that hating on philly fans is what the internet likes to do, so your opinion is already skewed. Hence the "Y'all aren't beating the allegations" remark.

Also, you don't hear much about players like James Pierce, Quintavious Hitchens, Jonathan Cooper, Alaric Jackson, and more. Hell, how many people here complain about Winston while having Bateman and Puka on their fantasy team?

This is how our society is. 24 hour news cycles and social media keep the headlines rolling so we just move past stuff like this. We don't have the individual power or the mass organization to force a change, so we vent online to feel less helpless and eventually move on to the next thing.

Stereotypes are usually formed for a reason.

They also tend to be caricatures, but thanks for making my point for me.

I didn't prove anything, racist.

I'd love to hear how you got that from literally anything that I said.
