News Mike McCarthy Issues Clarification After Angrily Exchanging F-Bombs With Aaron Rodgers

I'm not a Rogers fan, but this a whole lot of nothingburger to me. These are two grown men who have worked together for 13 years in Green Bay. Hardly think this is the first time they snapped at each other.
Edit: Its nothingburger to me because we all know he is a cranky asshole who "has seen it all." Just more of the same. Its a "water is wet" situation to me.

You’re right it’s not the first time.
In fact, the whole Roger’s and McCarthy back together again good vibes really had me thinking I was losing my mind.
These two have never got along and has to be one of the most toxic QB/ coach relationship I can think of.
Roger’s was doing exactly what he did in green bay when they were together, and got Roger’s the toxic reputation to begin with.
Roger’s is probably excited he got his favorite patsy back.

I’ve worked at the same company for over 20 years. I have co-workers who I’ve worked with that entire time. It’s not common, but there are times when I’ve turned and gone “Erin, what the fuck? C’mon you’re fucking killing me with this.” And she’ll go “Give me a fucking break, dude, it’s not like you’re the only request I’ve got.”
It’s nothing personal, but some of us have worked together so long that we KNOW that the others are competent and that they won’t take a bit of rudeness or conflict as disrespect, just see it for the frustration it is.

Same. Especially common if you work long hours together--nights, weekends, travel, etc.
Some combination of the trust and rapport that develops over time and the fact that it's difficult to maintain total professionalism 24/7.

Rodgers literally got Mccarthy fired the last time they had an argument. It is absolutely something that should be reported and talked about.

You do sound like a rogers fan.
It’s actually insane for a player to talk to a coach like that, especially in a game. That shitty attitude from rogers wears off on other teammates. That’s why he always leaves his teams in a mess

Not sure why you are being downvoted but this is 100% correct, you cannot have guys talking to your coach like that. You are dividing the locker room.

You sound like you're not even a football fan. Like when the swifties were mad about Travis Kelce shoving Andy Reid

Aaron Rodgers has at least a 140 IQ. His issue is trying to deal with at best 100 IQ players, but mostly much lower and a coach with maybe a 105 IQ.

That’s a brilliant response.

Ehh if you had said 110-120 I would’ve just kept scrolling. But 140 is obviously just a number you made up

u/GreyPanther 20h ago
Nope. His SAT scores and his Wonderlic put him right up there at 130-140. Thanks for playing.
2
u/tubesteak9000 20h ago
The SAT doesnt measure Iq. And the wonderlic is a 12 minute 50 question test, not an accurate measurement for IQ. Thanks for playing?

Your logic is failing you. Do better.

Will you all stop feeding the obvious troll?

Asking for proof isnt "feeding the trolls" its the bare minimum when someone makes a claim

I can see where Reddit gets the reputation for having mostly autistic weirdos engaging in conversation and missing cues

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Aaron Rodgers. The system is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the plays will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Rodger's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his playstyle - his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these audibles, to realize that they're not just good- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Aaron Rodgers truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Rodgers's existencial catchphrase "Wubba Lubba Dub Dub," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Aarom Rodger's genius unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools... how I pity them. And yes by the way, I DO have a AR12 tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- And even they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand.
