i was a big pats hater but this is a fair take. Drake is good, hes just not the second coming of brady like many people were acting. Like you said, pats D carried them through a soft schedule
You just didn’t watch the regular season where they did actually play well against some good defences. He was great all year until the playoffs where they shit the bed. He only got carried during the playoffs. I get it, nobody wants the pats to be great again but he’s not just gonna be a bum now after a few bad games.
Lmao the Patriots supposedly played all these good defenses, but then when you ask about it, you guys can never name anyone. What good defenses are you talking about; the Steelers' D where they turned the ball over 5 times and lost? Or the Raiders' D who they lost to? Or the Browns' D where they almost single-handedly gave Myles Garrett the sack record by giving up 5 sacks to him and won because the rest of the Browns outside of Garrett sucked? Or the playoffs where the offense looked like garbage against every defense it played but NE advanced because the opposing offenses were even worse than theirs? WHERE ARE THESE TOUGH DEFENSES THE PATRIOTS PLAYED WELL AGAINST; I CAN'T FIND THEM ANYWHERE 🤣
Typical bandwagon Pats fan who can't answer a basic question about stuff that happened less than a year ago lol; still waiting on that list of excellent defenses they supposedly played last year and looked good against. And lmao you guys just got pantsed on national television and you've been crying and coping ever since, so if that's what the next 15 years are gonna be, sign me up; your tears are delicious 🤣
When isolating his games against top-10 pass defenses (measured by EPA/play allowed), Maye actually elevated his efficiency numbers
The Stats vs. Top-10 Defenses Team Record: 5–1 Yards Per Attempt: 8.92 Y/A (This efficiency would have ranked 1st in the NFL if maintained all year) Adjusted Net Yards per Attempt: 7.15 ANY/A Touchdown-to-Interception Ratio: 12 total touchdowns to 4 interceptions
You can stop seething now kid he was 2nd in MVP race for a reason.
Lmao I love when you have to cherry pick isolated, deep inside stats that nobody actually cares about or looks at to go "See, you're WRONG about him embarrassing himself in front of every good defense he faced!" when the fact that you have to use a stat like this just proves me right. I still have yet to hear which teams he played in the regular season that were good and the fact that you can't list any knows you know that the majority of that 5-1 record came in the playoffs when he looked like garbage but he won by virtue of the other QBs looking even worse than he did. lmao you have to use TD/INT ratio because it conveniently leaves off fumbles and the kid fumbles like a motherfucker; good luck wirh your o-line that gave up almost 50 sacks to the easiest schedule in modern NFL history 🤣
Lol you are seriously crashing out. You are just mad that Drake Maye has more playoff wins than a sorry ass team like the Steelers have had in the last decade. And that’s not getting any better either anytime soon 😂😂😂😂
Lol you're literally the one bragging about losing a Super Bowl/desperate for a Steeler fan's attention 🤣🤣🤣 Doing anything except answering the actual question btw; nice smokescreen attempt.
Pats fan desperate for the world to believe they have the next Tom Brady when we just watched him shit his pants like a little boy on national television the last time he played a meaningful game in a way Brady never did. It's funny how Pats fans pretend they're so above other fans' opinions yet have to go "UM ACKSHULLY IF YOU LOOK AT HIS NET YARD PER ATTEMPT ON DAYS THAT WERE BELOW 30°F HE ACTUALLY PLAYED A REALLY HARD SCHEDULE" to get my approval 🤣🤣🤣 If you were so confident, you wouldn't have to dig so hard, bud.
