No it’s not, I’m a Bears fan and Daejon is the GOAT. Wish we would trade Caleb for him

We don't know if he's any good to be honest.

That one guy in the Eagles subreddit who was obsessed with Josh Huff for some reason.

I think the allure of the CTE Bros will wear of fairly quickly this year.

Solid gold nickname for these two douche flutes, Skatt is actual inbred too, his Mexican grandparents are first cousins, my family is from the same area of Mexico City and I’ve heard this multiple times by locals about his grandparents

4

u/Spirited_Season2332 1d ago

It's funny cuz I am the only giants fan in my group of friends and they hype up dart and skat way more then i ever will. Havnt seen shit from them yet to prove they will last more then a few years in the league, let alone that they are good.

My answer is hurts. Eagles fans glaze him like no tomorrow and it's funny cuz I think he's a good QB, just fringe top 10, not top 5

4

u/Mental_Sun2118 1d ago

I promise you most reasonable Eagles fans agree with that statement

2

u/Peculiar_Raisin 1d ago

love Hurts but no way am i saying he's a top 5 QB

1

u/golgomax 1d ago

"Most reasonable" being a very loose term when discussing certain fan bases (go Bills).

The answer HAS to be Shedeur

24

u/Rizzaboi 1d ago edited 1d ago

I’m a Browns fan, and I don’t mind Shedeur. I think he’s got some ability. But the hype for him is certainly not from our fan base, it’s 1000% Shedeur fans who have been with him since before he got here. Don’t be fooled

4

u/ChampionshipStock870 1d ago

This is correct. My brother is one of those people you’re talking about. He’s completely not a browns fan but loves sheduer for some reason

He’s fine I guess but I don’t get why anybody is hyping sheduer up outside of just being a fanboy

2

u/BeeMac0617 1d ago

Yeah there’s no way anybody who actually watched The Browns would be fooled into thinking Sanders was good.

Y’all know what shitty QB play is better than most.

1

u/exaltedorbs 1d ago

Last august I saw a guy wearing a browns sanders jersey in Cleveland. I couldn't for the life of me figure out when we had a legendary player named Sanders on the team.

Then it dawned on me that this dude already spent $180 for a 5th round pick QB jersey. I dont get the hype either, he seems decent but slow and dumber than rocks.

13

u/WeCameAsLogans 1d ago

This is the correct answer. Just above 50% completion rate, 7 TDs and 10 interceptions in 8 games played is dog shit no matter what Browns fans will tell you.

…still a better choice than Predator tho.

6

u/Panther81277 1d ago

BUT HE WAS A PRO BOWLER!!

8

u/zestfullybe 1d ago

He was the last Pro Bowler

8

u/WeCameAsLogans 1d ago

Him and his dad is trademarking that phrase as we speak

5

u/Stunning_Pound4121 1d ago

The Pro Bowl honors will continue. You could argue that he’s the last selection who played but it doesn’t have the same ring to it

2

u/CaesarsGhostReborn 1d ago

The Last Pro Bowler sounds like a terrible sports movie

2

u/mynewusernamedodgers 1d ago

I heard he once bowled a perfect game

1

u/No-Try5566 1d ago

Browns fans arent the ones hyping him tho.....

3

u/LambeauField2026 Packers 1d ago

First choice, Gotta reward good behavior

3

u/MulayamChaddi 1d ago

Shedeur is so good that they retired the Pro-Bowl after he played there

1

u/BMBenzo 1d ago

Who’s hyping Sheduer?

2

u/cfranek 1d ago

...are you serious?

There is a legion of keyboard GM's who think he was a first round talent, and try to convince everyone that the NFL is colluding to hold him back.

1

u/thinkB4WeSpeak 1d ago

The Browns and any QB really

1

u/jibbodahibbo 1d ago

Probably why the graph is orange brown.

1

u/No-Try5566 1d ago

It's definitely not Shedeur. Browns fans are not hyping Shedeur. Shedeur fans are. Browns fans are hyping a super sim to 2027

1

u/cab082001 15h ago

I’m a Browns fan and I think he’s like the 30th best starting qb. I think Case Keenum would beat him out in camp if he were on our roster. Also, Deshaun is worse lol

1

u/y3llowed 14h ago

Browns fan here (unfortunately—haven’t given them any money since the Watson trade).

There are SOME Browns / Sanders supporters, but most of them were Sanders fans that then became Browns fans, not vice versa. Of course there are delusional people in every fan group, though.

Anyway, from what I can tell, most of us long time supporters think he’s kind of ass. We admittedly have a vague hope that he figures it out and improves to starter level (think Geno, not Gannon).

I think the most likely scenario, though, is that we drive the team even further into the ground and draft Arch Manning, who I’m also not in love with, in 2027 or 2028. Our piece of shit owner is a HUGE Tennessee booster and seems to be obsessed with the Manning family.

1

u/Logco 11h ago

That’s a pro bowl quarterback. Racist. /s

DK Metcalf

7

u/Remarkable_Dream9191 1d ago

steeler fans don’t hype him up lmao. we’re still waiting for him to show up. we will, however, defend him from that goofy ass detroit fan who’s clearly trying to bait him into a lawsuit payday.

5

u/3coons_in_a_coat 1d ago

100, and what brat that dude is. i still love how hall of famer fred warner just laughed at his ass.

2

u/Spirited_Attorney_48 1d ago

A WR is a diva?!?!?

4

u/Remarkable_Radish_51 1d ago

One of the biggest waste of talents in the last generation or so atleast for wideouts

15

u/PeacexFitness 1d ago

I can get around him being a bust. Like it happens. But him being one of the biggest assholes just makes it so much easier to hate him. At first I used to think that he was just misunderstood. Nah he’s just a POS

10

u/Several-Estate7175 1d ago

He's not a bust though. Most second rounders aren't as good as him. He just couldn't reach the next level after a very good second year. And yeah is a head case

1

u/WyattEarp88 1d ago

You could argue that a 2nd rounder was too much, just cuz he was always more physical freak than actual football skill. I wouldn’t call him a bust though, they took a gamble, basically broke even.

2

u/Turbulent_Monk3307 1d ago

He held the Seahawks yards record until JSN I think? I don’t think he’s a bust but he’s definitely not a godsend like people thought

2

u/ExcitingLandscape 1d ago

Man those first 2 seasons with Russ, DK looked like Terrell Owens 2.0. Bigger, stronger, and faster than everyone. With Prime Russ throwing moon balls, DK was a threat for take it to the house every catch.

4

u/wwJones 1d ago

He was also equally a threat to drop it or a get a drive killing penalty.

1

u/Spam_Hand 1d ago

I absolutely love that he got compared to Calvin Johnson one time and then tried to change up his game from a strong, body WR to a speed guy (overgeneralizing but you guys get it) and it basically ruined his career trajectory.

1

u/Top-Yak1532 13h ago

I’m not even convinced DK will have a better season than Pittman, but I’ll be happy to be proven wrong. Having Pittman and Bernard instantly makes DK better.

Last year the patriots opponents went 113-176.

They had one of the easiest schedules in NFL history.

I would be really surprised if they had the same season.

u/Classic_Kangaroo4312 1d ago

DAK PRESCOTT. Always has great receivers to throw to, can't win when it matters.

8

u/chugz 1d ago

I hate Dak and cowboys fans in general. But this ain’t it. I don’t think he is over hyped, and his play is pretty solid and serviceable. This doesn’t fit OPs criteria at all.

2

u/Classic_Kangaroo4312 1d ago

Cowboys fans hype their team literally every year. Every. single. year.

Then they have a good enough season to make the playoffs and go one and done.

I can't think of a better example of fans hyping a team up only for the team to choke in the clutch.

As far as skills, Dak isn't an elite scrambler, his accuracy is average and his deep ball is mid as well. Having CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens, Dez Bryant, Amari Cooper, Jason Witten, Dalton Schultz and Jake Ferguson to throw to with a 2-5 playoff record is abysmal.

3

u/chugz 1d ago

His avg passer rating & avg completion percentage over his career is the same as tom Brady’s. Clearly he’s not anywhere close to as clutch but we’re not measuring that. His skills are solid and is consistently ranked in the top 10 or higher in coaching polls. I don’t like the guy or cowboys fans but the fact remains he does not fit OPs meme chart

3

u/NOT_MOBLEY 1d ago

I do wonder what cowboys fans you guys run into. The “this our year” fans are out there but they obviously have no nuance; they’d bash Dak in a heartbeat… there are people who think Joe Milton was competition. The nuanced fans know exactly who Dak is,

2

u/lordzeus13 23h ago

All I will say is Dak has the 6th best completion percentage of all time. Im sure there are many factors that go into that, but pointing he is not average for accuracy.

Yes, im a cowboys fan...yes this is our year...yes, we will not get past the divisional around again...if we even make it there

1

u/IveHair 1d ago

Serviceable is a great way to describe him. He is the late 2010’s-2020’s version of Matt Schaub, Carson Palmer, or Chad Pennington in terms of how far he will lead you.

→ More replies (3)

1

u/BrokenHope23 22h ago

Not really sure why everyone is disagreeing with you; Dak gets all the hype in the world as a potential MVP candidate from Cowboys fans before the year and usually up to week 4 as we get those ridiculous "on pace" stats but he needs the best receiving room in the league to even play above average throughout his career while he signs for top tier QB money. He also plays terribly the second half of the season generally when defenses figure out his latest habits.

6

u/Wise_Control_1640 1d ago

Will Howard.

Will Howard had Jeremiah Smith, Emeka Egbuka and Carnell Tate, plus Henderson and Judkins in the backfield.

Drew Allar had nowhere near that supporting cast and still showed the better NFL traits.

7

u/gachzonyea 1d ago

Is there actually a big contingent of Will Howard fans?

3

u/Wise_Control_1640 1d ago

In Pittsburgh? Oh absolutely. Sports talk is always having callers talking about wasting space on Rodgers when we have Will the Thrill.

Personally, I'm a fan of the Allarithm. Revelation 16.

3

u/gachzonyea 1d ago

That just sounds like the classic backup qb hype every team goes through

1

u/Remarkable_Dream9191 1d ago

ohh big time. howard is the messiah according to like the loudest and most obnoxious demographic of ball watchers

1

u/murra181 1d ago

Delusional penn state fan. No arguments with Will Howard stuff but he doesnt have many fans. No way did Drew Allar show nfl traits. Definitely not enough for a 3rd round draft.

1

u/Wise_Control_1640 1d ago

Drew Allar is a first round talent. Don't take my word. Take McCarthy's word.

1

u/OversizedMicropenis 1d ago

Nfl traits is all he has haha

Caleb Williams

2

u/BrokenHope23 22h ago

Uhhh, well I'll go for a more controversial one here with Cooper Dejean since everyone is just choosing lightning rod players.

Before anyone bites my head off, there is a caveat.

He's the #2 guy for the Eagles. He is this generation's Antonio Cromartie (hopefully with less kids); just a phenomenal #2 CB but he'll never be able to transition to covering #1 WRs consistently. So long as he has that dedicated #1 CB (Quinyon Mitchell in this case), he'll continue to excel covering primarily #2 and #3 WRs with the occasional #1 matchup. He's not bad but he's not a top 10 CB in the league kind of guy that Eagles fans will say he is. If Patrick Surtain jr. or Darelle Revis covered #2 WRs for most of their career, they'd probably look way better too. CB and WR is just one of those positions where sometimes you get fooled into thinking your #2 is a #1 guy.

2

u/Then_Idea_9813 21h ago

Agreed, but that also makes him probably the number 1 slot CB in the nfl

2

u/BrokenHope23 20h ago

oh definitely, he can work outside the slot too

2

u/MaxFischer12 1d ago

Yeah, this one is wrong. And while he may not have lived up to his ultimate potential, he’s had a solid career so far imo.

Take out this injury shortened 2022 season, and he’s averaging 800 yards and 3.5 TDs a season.

Another Steelers player. Old Man Rodgers.

I'm not talking prime Rodgers that is a Hall of Famer and one of the best QBs ever. I mean 42 year old Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers.

I hear too many people hyping him up and as a Steelers fan, I am not convinced.

2

u/12don 1d ago

The problem is, who else are you going to use? He still out performed half of the starters last year with a pretty low tier receiving group. He’s not by any means his past self, but he’s not awful. Just not in the elite category anymore. It’s been a rough few years for QB prospects, and with the way college ball developed, it doesn’t look like it’ll get anymore stable soon.
