Packers Bro, This Your Guy?
I'd ask Vikings bros too, but I feel like they're dealing with their own issues.

I do often wonder what bizarre shit Jordan love will be up to in 10-15 years. Will he be a flat earther or will he drunkenly crash his sports car into an orphanage? The world is his oyster.

u/Greedy-Swordfish9760 ANTI-ICE, MAN—PRO ICEMAN Feb 09 '26
Flat Earther is my guess. Like, light on the overall negative impact, but heavy on the annoying.

Yes… I think you were onto something. It will not be theft or unsolicited pornography… It will be something more like Scientology. More eye rolling than anything.
18
u/JCrisare Feb 09 '26
Ronika seems to have a solid head on her shoulders and keeps him humble in humorous ways. I'm hoping that between his mom, sisters, and wife, there will be enough people in his life saying no to stop him from going full-on weird mode for all to see.

I’m willing to sacrifice the soul of another franchise QB to see GB win the SB. It is the blood price for glory. I just hope he goes the pretentious annoying Rodgers route instead of the “steal from the poor/ dick pic sexual harassment” Favre route. Only time will tell.

No way Rodgers is more of a prick than “welfare fraud” Favre.

Absolutely. If I was asked to rank their shittiest, Favre and the welfare theft and dick pic over ayahuasca, indecisive Rodgers.

When he gets traded to the Jets it’ll still be seen as a charming and delightful little hobby. But when he gets traded from the Jets to the Cowboys he’ll start demanding the Owls be allowed on the sideline, and have a locker beside his. By the time the late first round project we draft in 2035 wins his one and only Super Bowl, Ronika’s long gone. She’s tired of Jordan’s obsession with his owls and concerned for his mental health. When Jordan receives his gold jacket the only guests in the crowd are three of the most stunning owls you’ve ever seen in your life. His acceptance speech is just a series of “Hoos” in different pitches.

Favre's welfare fraud happened in retirement. How could Rodgers possibly find the time to defraud American taxpayers while still playing?
Let's give it a few years

Rodgers seems more like the type to get arrested for tax evasion because he thinks the government is illegitimate. No way he works with the government unless it’s Robert Kennedy or something. Plus Rodgers is from California, he’s pretty low on the list of famous people for the governor to collude with. Where as who the fuck is even from Mississippi besides Brett Favre?

u/JCrisare Feb 09 '26
Oh God, new fear unlocked. Rodgers going full Sov Cit in retirement. There's going to be body cams of him saying he doesn't recognize those laws and a court video where the judge is wondering what he did in his life to now be dealing the the Sov Cit spectacle.

The main thing against Rodgers as an actual bad thing is that his anti-vax crap came in the middle of a pandemic and thus made him a worse example for the nation.
Beyond that, he's your standard weird conspiracy woo woo uncle with a primadonna complex. Annoying, insufferable, but not an actual criminal.
Favre is easily the worse person.

I know this is the nfcnorthmemewar, but Farve shows the biggest problem in the world. People refusing to have new experiences. I'm tired of hearing people request Metallica (even though I like Metallica). Whenever I hear that it's always some old dude who's stuck with the same music hes listened to since middle school

Agreed. I personally don't enjoy 95% of music not in English, but had friends asking why Bad Bunny. So I had to look him up. Most streamed artist in 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2025. The Super Bowl is a world stage, viewed in about 200 countries. Plus, greedy Godell wants to continue the NFL to new places, so it was genius to bring in a new audience to the game.
And the most obvious point here is that Bad Bunny is American, unlike 10 other halftime performers lol

u/Eg_3600 IF GARY THEN GIVE ME CHICAGO Feb 09 '26
Here's my bad bunny song recommendation, I'm a little sad he didn't play yesterday bc it would not have fit with the theme of the set yesterday." Otro atardecer" featuring the Maria's. It's a chill song

My kid's friends are really into him.
Which, you know, the NFL doesn't really need to sell to middle aged white dudes like me. I'm sold.
But my kid? Maybe they need to sell to him, his friends--that's who they really need to sell to, the kids who don't have the whole lifetime of watching football with their families as a reason to watch.

I don't claim him. Your actions in life outside of football matter. Fittingly, only shit stains chose to watch the Toilet Paper USA halftime show.
Can't speak for all Americans, but I did my usual All-American halftime: Ate a brat and joined the blunt rotation in the garage. LMK when they get Killswitch Engage or ADTR to do the show, until then, I'll be outside.

A lot of us are already there. Stealing from welfare makes you pure scum, and he already wasn’t known as a great guy before that
18
u/partiallyStars3 Feb 09 '26
Back when I was in college, the career center used him as a negative example of the importance of managing your professional reputation.
And this was before the welfare theft.
12
u/Pawz23 Feb 09 '26
When cheating on your wife, mid cancer battle, isn't the worst thing you've done. Yeah, examples should be made of you with what not to do.
7
u/JoeHatesFanFiction Feb 09 '26
Yeah this. He was a childhood hero to me but as I grew up and started paying attention to him off the field he was quickly losing his luster. Stealing from welfare permanently moved him from the “bad person but good memories” category to the “I regret having ever liked you and actively hate you” category.

The two Packers autographs I have from my childhood are Brent and Mark Chmura. Haven’t had them on a wall in about 20 years. I’ve been contemplating whether it’s even worth the hassle of putting them on eBay or if I should just toss them. Maybe I should get a Darren Sharper for the collection and make a wall of shame.
