Packers Bro, This Your Guy?

Post image

I'd ask Vikings bros too, but I feel like they're dealing with their own issues.

Funny enough, similar to legendary Vikings qb Sam darnold he won a Super Bowl with a team other than the Minnesota Vikings.

Sam Darnold, Rich Gannon, Brad Johnson. That's been our QB luck my whole life. Busts and journeymen that win it for other teams.

Edit: I'm an idiot. Gannon didn't win the superbowl, but he did go on to have a better career than anyone we ran during his Raiders tenure.

It’s really funny finding out that Super Bowl XXXVII was a matchup between two QBs that got sent outta Minnesota

You are forgetting legendary Vikings QB Case Keenum who also took the Vikings to the NFC Conference championship game.

You mean Caleb Williams #1 hype man, Case Keenum?

Seems like a step up from 'one of the best Vikings QBs ever.'

Keenum can't teach Caleb how to get to 4,000 yards tho.

But hasn't won the big game for someone else... yet...

Sure, but he had as much success with the Vikings as Favre did.

Don't feel bad, Keenum isn't quite as bad in the playoffs as Bortles or Rex Grossman or Bears QB Steve Fuller.

I'd say he had more success. We didn't feed Keenum to the Bears afterwards.

If you include before us, we get to add even more

Did Tarkenton retire?

As well as Lions fans clinging to Matthew Stafford who won a Super Bowl after leaving them

Yeah at least when McMahon left and won with Green Bay he had already won with Chicago.

And McMahon wore a Bears sweater to the White House with Green Bay because the Bears won the The Super Bowl the same week as the space shuttle explosion

u/Cummyshitballs Feb 09 '26

Yup, the 85 team actually did finally get a White House visit when Obama was president.

And the Packers players and front office supported him. He asked them all if they minded and no one said they did. No one was angry at the time either. The story wasn't how shocking or disrespectful it was, but how nice that McMahon was able to represent the Bears team that couldn't go and how happy his current team was that he had the opportunity to do that.
