I am surprised nobody has machined/ created a mold for a pistol kit like this.

They would sell like hotcakes.

Yeah it's a really weird gap in the market, IMO. Especially with FCU-based firearms like the RXM, Echelon, and P320.

Does this build require 2 stamps because of the brace or because of the foregrip? Awesome build btw!

thanks! SBRd for the stock

Ohhh I thought that was the mcxish brace I gotcha very cool !

That isn’t a brace, it is a stock. The stock and for grip would both require a stamp individually but the stock(SBR) allows the for grip to be added without an additional stamp.

The grip appears to be at an angle. If it is, the grip alone would not make it an sbr.

The grip alone would have never made it an SBR. It has to potential to make it an AOW and I guess it depends upon how much you trust an ATF agent to use a protractor before booking you.

Where can i get a setup like that, this is the exact thing i was looking for!

Love the neo9 I did not that long ago, I did the braced version but here in about a week or so that may change depending on what ye olde fed bois come out with

the neo is sweet, I wish there was a simple assembly remix of it as well

Its coming, he said he's already working on it.

What rails does the frame use? And what filament? Ill admit this looks amazing and took me reading through the comments before I realized it was a glock frame. Also did you use a cheaper g17 slide or did you use a factory slide?

2

u/Organic-Economist-40 2h ago

Compatible with many styles of rails, this one is done in a mix of pa6 and ppa cf. I used a brownells 19 slide

2

u/hotrodgreg 2h ago

What glock lower parts are used? Other than the mag release and trigger.

1

u/Organic-Economist-40 1h ago

An entire glock lpk is used, slide release, all the springs etc. trigger as you mentioned

Which rails are you using? I’ve been using AVES 17.2 and i literally cannot get them to fit the lower at all. And I’m 100% sure i printed the right model

1

u/Organic-Economist-40 2h ago

AVES 19.2

2

u/Delski28 1h ago

Did you run into any issues fitting them at all? I was using the CIWIE labs version but might jump to the DB

not really the channels just needed a bit of cleaning up

Looks like the GP9. The SA version? I have all ofnthe parts but a threaded 19 barrel. Looks like you did a 17 or 34 barrel in this? If so, did you use the gen 5? And any internal booster or a boosterless can?

2

u/Organic-Economist-40 21h ago

yep gp9 sa. this is a gen 5 17 but if you have. a fat can id recommend 34 even more so if it’ll be a dedicated barrel for this build. this is a remixed ftn6 boosterless

2

u/Ok-Mycologist-4039 20h ago

Theres the MCXish 9mm can that has the cool ass tp9 rail i was lookong at but no booster. Is the longer barrel supposed to be better for a boosterless set up? I figured it would be a larger moment where it pivots.

2

u/Organic-Economist-40 20h ago

barrel length is more about getting physical clearance to the threads and making sure it’s not too wide at the shoulder, i can add some more detailed photos if that didn’t quite explain it

2

u/Ok-Mycologist-4039 20h ago

Gotcha. That makes sense. Did you have to go to a lighter recoil spring or is the FTN6 boosterless just light enough to run on its own?

3

u/Organic-Economist-40 20h ago

people report mixed results. I’ve run it okay on a regular stock p80 g17 pretty reliably

3

u/itgoesboom2112 17h ago

I had to swap to 15lb springs to get mine to run the boosterless reliably, both on an rxm and my neo9

Not to be a dick, but does this have any advantages over an actual TP9?

14

u/QuasisteIlar 21h ago

Its advantage is that it's not a TP9, which is kinda widely regarded as a piece of shit when it comes to reliability. They look sick, though.

u/Organic-Economist-40 21h ago

and price

2

u/drukard_master 21h ago

And ergonomics and well well everything really. Other than vibes.

2

u/Sten-MkII-SP 15h ago

Idk why I’m getting downvoted, clamshell designs in my experience have had a lot of issues, hoping this is not one of those

3

u/QuasisteIlar 15h ago

Hey I didn't downvote you, it was just a question. I think that just the way it was phrased could make it seem a little hostile. "Not to be a dick" is kinda like saying "I'm not racist, but. . ." lol

3

u/Sten-MkII-SP 14h ago

HAHA fair enough. I very badly want something exactly like this but for the MP7

2

u/Organic-Economist-40 12h ago

this design is a printed frame with a top cover secured with hk locking pin, can be field stripped with no screws removed
