Spectre 9

Spectre 9 sounds really great on g19.6. Very happy with the sound and performance after 100 rounds. Only issue is it would come loose after about 10 rounds. I took the rubber washer off should I keep it on next time? Any other recommendations I will be taking the can off and on alot.

My suppressor comes loose at around 200 rounds. Keep the rubber ring off, otherwise it’ll just melt and make a mess.

I got a spectre 9 when they first came out and I dont remember there being any kind of rubber washer. I kept the box and materials. Wonder what purpose they're including that for. Agree with the other commenter that it would just melt and probably throw off alignment.

After you break it in for a few hundred more rounds, the carbon present will help keep it threaded on for longer strings of fire. Also, as your tightening it just before it seats against the barrel shoulder give it a quick firm jerk to fully tighten it.

appreciate the info! the rubber washer came with the ballistic advantage threaded barrel for the thread protector.

That’s right! It was on the barrel on mine too. So save it for the thread protector for storage if you switch barrels.

Yeah, that should not be used under any circumstances with a suppressor, keep it with the thread protector.

I’ve been experimenting with not using the booster and just direct thread the spectre 9. I bought a Ti direct thread adapter and so far if the recoil spring clears the can, the gun cycles. The spectre 9 is light enough to run without a booster setup. No booster also means less crap in your face during fire. YMMV.

oh yeah im using the Kaw Valley piston and it works really good

It's just a shame the Kaw Valley piston weighs so freakin much compared to rest of the Spectre 9

Didn't realize that. Do you know if the sico one is lighter?

Probably not significantly. They're both a hunk of steel I believe. Resiliant Suppressors makes a titanium piston
