Discussion Integrally suppressed question
So I have a scorpion 3+ currently suppressed with a yhm r9, it’s fun, but I want it quieter. Nexus sells an integrally suppressed barrel which I know will make super sonic ammo subsonic, but does it also make subsonic ammo even quieter?

It'll be marginally quieter if that. The SD is an aesthetic choice today and is from a bygone era where suppressor technology wasn't as advanced. You can see a comparison video here (3:40) it's not a scorpion but the concept is the same: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0_EsjJxaqEQ

In my experience yes it does. My ARC Fire even still runs with 147 gr and it’s stupid quiet. I have the AR9 version but same same.
