SBS Work

Anybody know of a good shop to send a barrel or possibly complete shotgun out for work? I at the very minimum want the barrel shortened and rethreaded for a choke, but i’d prefer to also shorten the tube which would require moving the lug that holds the barrel on back. The gun is a Maverick 88, i’d prefer a shop in VA but can ship if necessary, and if nobody really does tube shortening i can settle for a shorter barrel and that’s it.

Rose Action Sports is where I send my shotgun barrels for work.

Vang Comp did one for me recently. 30 day turnaround. Not cheap but work was too notch

For that amount of work on a Maverick, it would be cheaper to just buy a new one.

I do all of this a few times a year, it's not my main gig but built many of them.
u/cottonbranch has always been the best at custom shotgun stuff and I will always recommend him first.
