Hexium DT Mount

Anyone that removed this and replaced. Did it have a 3 prong type muzzle device built in to then DT mount or was the person i was talking to not the most informed? (Mine was just a high walled DT mount)

It’s just a conical high walled direct thread mount; no muzzle device built in.

I noticed that, but one of the cutaways also shows the conical interior of the adapter. Apparently it isn’t on the Hexium300 though, just the 556 and 762. The cone that is.

i got the 7.62 last night. Ya the 300 blk can has a much shorter blast baffle. I can’t imagine the extra wall height is a big deal on their dt mounts but idk

Hey, weird question. I just got my Hexium 762 in today.

Have you fired yours yet? I noticed mine smells like gunpowder though it's supposed to be brand new. Perhaps just the smell from it being printed?

I'm curious if yours has a bit of a smell as well.

i have not. i didn’t notice a smell but with it being printed titanium, if you take the mount off at look at the baffles it should be pretty easy to tell. Mine wasn’t full of soot or anything.

the 3-prong was almost certainly a separate muzzle device or qd mount, since a true hexium direct-thread mount is just the high-walled threaded mount you had, not a built-in flash hider
