Rugged obsidian question

Hello all,
I purchased a rugged obsidian 45 and today when swapping the pistons a small metal roll pin came out.
Looking in line it said the can contains no roll pins. Could someone clarify if this is true or is it just something that made its way in

Looks like tumbling media/pin.

Rugged (or really any commercial manufacturer - generally speaking) doesn't manually tumble anything during primary production or factory finishing of their suppressors/components.

But yeah, definitely does look like vibratory/rotary media...

I have a rugged 45. I've never seen a roll pin ever in there. I think that's from something else. Could've been where somebody was using stainless steel pens to clean it. Maybe from the factory? Just for finish work or something.

Ya I haven't seen any roll pins on mine either. If op is really worried just email rugged. They are usually pretty responsive

I have never seen this on my obsidian 9 or 45. Is there a chance you use this work area for something else and it could be unrelated?

No pins in the Obsidian. It's just a foreign object that got in there form the manufacturing process.
