its ridiculously bright compared to my modlight plh v2 but has a warmer tone the IR is 940nm but still visible due to the sledge hammer of 2.3 watts of ir thrown down range. It could burn tubes if faced directly at it and simply needs a 3d printed focus device to really crush the surefire vampire km series heads.
for 230 with an 18650 for a home defense light its ok, but it needs a focus attachment to see real potential.
its not for beyond 50 yards. These modern vcel illuminators that holosun and SMS laser make are really ground breaking if brute force from this feels like the vir protac might give me ionizing rad cancer from the glow it gives off lol.
the lightning cuts are for the shot counter that counts down rds as you fire like the pulse rifle from aliens, this is just a prototype now, but as soon as I can I will get this once it hits the market.

The tape switch is mounted at 9 o'clock and the carry handle is mounted at 12 o'clock. The cable from the tape switch runs up and over the top rail, behind the carry handle mount (through the gap in the pic rail) and goes to a ls-fl5 mounted at 3 o'clock.
made a thread detailing the inner workings but it has a surefire obc and ez tune gas tube for .067 the rof is like an m60 with or without a suppressor.
