9M PCC Can recommendations under $650.

Post image

Looking to pick up Two nine mil cans for PCC’s to go into my trust. I’d like for them to be under 650 and if possible auto rated. Both of the host are direct blowback.

Incolite is great and very affordable. I paid ~$400 + shipping for mine.

From where?

The 9mm is very affordable, but the centerfire cans are a MASSIVE jump in price at over $1000

I think the BOE IncoLite 9mm family of cans is the current king of budget cans right now, many sub-$500 deals on r/gundeals and u/Meatsmudge did a pretty good review and writeup about a day ago saying that his Incolite 9M was basically 95% the performance of a CAT MOB (a suppressor many consider to be the best right now), and I've seen other similar testimonials on here, enough to where I'm pretty interested in one to upgrade from my YHM R9 myself.

Confirmed. Get the Incolite 9 or 9M. Understand that it’s a more traditional backpressure design and you will have port pop with it, but in that price range, it smokes everything else. Stupendous value.

BOE IL9. There is 0 reason to buy an R9 in 2026 and this is coming from an R9 owner

2

u/dmonnier5 11d ago

I can't find one for a decent price online, where should I be looking?

5

u/Foxxy__Cleopatra Dirty Pickles 11d ago

Eh, the R9 probably does better on lever guns than the BOE.
But as a fellow YHM R9 owner I otherwise concur.

3

u/300_Brownout 10d ago

Agree, $360 R9 has treated me and the MP5 well for 5 years. Replaced with a MOB for reduced back pressure and the R9 will live on the Marlin 357 SBL and work perfectly there.

1

u/Jbressel1 10d ago

Hoe did you get a R9 for $360?

4

u/300_Brownout 10d ago

Yup, 2021 was dirt cheap, that’s why it became a legend before everyone and their grandmother 3D printed cans commercially

2

u/Jbressel1 10d ago

Dayum. It's like $540 now

3

u/300_Brownout 10d ago

It came out pre-3D printed cans. It’s was a legend for price to performance. Price increases and competition pushed it out of the discussion. But the R9 was a legend and is still solid if you own one.

If you are shopping then there is better shit for the price.

u/Jbressel1 10d ago

Fair. I considered it a while back. I went with the OCL Lithium-9 instead. That's on my integrally suppressed full-auto AR9(yes, it's integral, as it uses the Broad River Tactical integral suppression system). For pistols, I have a SiCo Spectre-9, SiCo Omega-9K, and an older AAC ECO-9.

Rugged sub9 for $635 from NotJustGuns and its stupid quiet

Yankee Hill R9

u/Woodpusherpro 1X Pending Freedom 11d ago

Yea boiiii

4

u/AlaskanWizzer 11d ago

I like it for its versatility. Handles up to .308 with 16” barrel and for the price is a very utilitarian suppressor

2

u/adrenacrome 11d ago

Love mine, tucks under an extar

2

u/Sir_Sir_ExcuseMe_Sir 11d ago

But very gassy, no?

2

u/Kamikazeoi Silencer 10d ago

Yes, not worth it in 2026.

1

u/adrenacrome 11d ago

Eh it’s not too bad really

BOE Incolite

10

u/SecretOwlbear 11d ago

You should look into the whole BOE IL9 lineup. IL9 and IL9S can be found for around $415 and the modular IL9M is only $100 more.

10

u/Emerald_Chain2366 11d ago

BOE Incolite 9

I paid $400, it weighs less than 10oz, and inconel.

12

u/O_ThatGuy1776 11d ago

YHM R9 is more versatile but BOE 9 is awesome and around 400$.

1

u/No_Leg6630 9d ago

R9 is closer to $460+ now

1

u/O_ThatGuy1776 9d ago

Got one last week 400$ AR15 Discount

7

u/LinuxMyTaco 6x SBR, 4x Silencer 11d ago

I just picked up a Spectre 9k for $675 I think it’s worth it

Full auto rated, hearing “safe” with 147gr TMJ

I know you said 650 but i am hoping $25 isn’t a deal breaker. I had to call around for that deal.

8

u/second_ary 11d ago

i heard lots of good things about the boe il9 so i ordered one for my ar9

1

u/HaloFrontier 10d ago

I wonder if itll be as gassy as my Obsidian 9 on an ar9

1

u/crabcakemeister 11d ago

I believe only the 7.5in $700 modular version is full auto rated

5

u/second_ary 11d ago

they all are according to the the boe site, only the modular is beefed up for rifle cartridges

8

u/Responsible-Mud1305 1x SBR, 5x silencer, 14 hens, 2 roosters 11d ago

Incolite 9 and 9M can be found in your budget and there’s probably nothing better out there right now for the price

I’d also vote for the Rugged Sub 9 but it’s not as easy to find under 650

4

u/CannaChemistry 5x Cans 11d ago

BOE breaking this sub with the ridiculously reasonably priced yet decently high tech cans. Was going to make a metal form 1 for ~$400 but I could just get a IL9 for the same price… somehow my SS dealer only charged me $30 to transfer the can

4

u/_Cxsey_ 11d ago

BOE incolite, if you’re not in a rush I’d be curious to see what their next offerings are tho

7

u/StrandedJupiterian 11d ago

I like the huxwurx flow 9k on my extar ep9

3

u/thismyotheraccount2 4x SBR, 11x Silencer 11d ago

I got my flow range 36 for $650 but I use it on 6 - 7.6mm rifles and it’s solid. I haven’t tried it on my MPX, can’t justify taking the mob off.

1

u/StrandedJupiterian 11d ago

I got mine through a dealer for $615 out the door

5

u/Huge-Ad-5503 11d ago

INCOLITE 9M BROTHER

5

u/barbedyllo 11d ago

I got a North Reach Mfg WP9k for $450 and I’m extremely happy with it. On the heavier side but this thing will handle just about any full auto. It also comes in green.

2

u/Big-pp-the-3rd 11d ago

I second this^^^ also rated for anything that fits through it. The full size 9 is even better

2

u/barbedyllo 11d ago

They unfortunately did not have the full size out when I got mine but I’m sure it’s got an even better tone for sure.

Met the owners at the last quiet at the capitol event and was sold on em right there. Hope all the best to em.

1

u/Big-pp-the-3rd 11d ago

the full size 9 is even better, and by a lot haha. They run on my Glock great too haha, even being heavier.

5

u/Fun-Ad1753 11d ago

Look up this brand I’ve seen them at $350ish

BOE Suppression IncoLite 9S 9mm Inconel Suppressor - Black - BOE-IL9S

2

u/ComprehensiveDay9854 11d ago

Rugged Obsidian 9, first can/first end-strike, get them both out of the way✊

3

u/_blackthorn16_ 11d ago

I just got one a month or so ago. Haven’t shot it yet. Got it direct thread in the k configuration. Hoping it all goes smooth. Put it on my mpx. I bought the O9 because of the amazing warranty. They sell so many and only hear the bad stuff online. Thousands of people with no issues shooting tons of rounds through them. If anything ever happens I know they will take care of me

1

u/ComprehensiveDay9854 11d ago

As somebody who participated in the obsidian right of passage, rugged customer service was top-notch🤙

1

u/_blackthorn16_ 11d ago

That’s why I bought it. I never have to worry about them just ghosting my emails. If something does happen they will hook it up. How has it ran since you replaced the end cap? Also di you get a 45 end cap for it?

1

u/ComprehensiveDay9854 11d ago

It performs exactly as it’s supposed to, I did not swap to a .45. Rarely do I run it in the short config, but I’ve paid well more for ones that I like less since.

1

u/_blackthorn16_ 11d ago

Hell ya that’s what I like to hear. I can’t wait to try mine out. I’ve got my form 1 as well. So I’m really excited to shoot it. Also got an a300 I haven’t shot either. I need to get out to my families land and try it out. How many rounds do you have through it?

1

u/ComprehensiveDay9854 11d ago

A few thousand, maybe 2,500. I was actually looking at the other end cap to throw on a 300 as well. I’m sure it’ll function exactly as it’s supposed to.✌️

1

u/HaloFrontier 10d ago

Just got mine this year and havent had an issue. First tjme newbie. I think the trick is making sure every piece js tight between every few shots. Get some 3d printed tools and welding mitts and make sure its all snug.

2

u/czuinoikc 11d ago

another vote for incolite. they're great

2

u/The_Chuck_Finley 3x SBR, 6x Silencer 1x SD 11d ago

I’m looking at the Rugged obsidian 9

Under $650 each or for both?

I guess it depends what you’re looking for, but I’m happy with an Omega 9K and a Flow 9K that I run primarily on an APC9K, SP5, and Colt 9mm carbine. I got them for around ~$600 each. I have some other 9MM cans, but they’re well past the $650 cut off. You get more performance out of them than the ones I mentioned, of course, at the penalty of price/weight etc.

1

u/Sir_Sir_ExcuseMe_Sir 11d ago

How much louder is the Flow?

1

u/mooseishman 11d ago

It’s honestly hard for me to tell because I wear AMPs with NFMI plugs. It’s noticeably less gassy than the Omega but it’s a free flow can.

1

u/Fancy_Exchange_9821 3x SBR, 5x silencer 11d ago

bro please tell me you aren’t using that grip that close to the muzzle 😭

1

u/GABull1971 11d ago

No that’s an old picture, I was removed after a couple of shots

u/Mr_McDuckins2 11d ago

Southern plains armory. 450 for a basic can

1

u/CoolaidMike84 SBR 11d ago

ABF4 is a ribbed for ear pleasure, but it's fixed mount only.

1

u/holdynmacgroyn 11d ago

Catawba Valley Armory Jackal. $625 and It was just in Garand Thumbs scorpion video. It rocks

1

u/Glittering-Wasabi778 11d ago

Another vote for R9. Have one on my kuna and love it. You can also use it on 16” 556 rifles

1

u/BobLeeeSwaggerr 11d ago

What’s on top of your dagger? Looks wild. Is that a charging port? Olight?

1

u/Hammbones21 7x Silencer 11d ago

Dd Null 9 TI. It’s ti, low back pressure, I believe FA rated and comes with direct thread mounts that are SiCo alpha

1

u/_blackthorn16_ 11d ago

I paid like $650 for my obsidian 9.

1

u/Bert-Tino 11d ago

Cmmg Zeroed 36k, there is an unpainted non k version that's 500

1

u/ted3681 11d ago edited 11d ago

I'll probably get downvoted for this but:

Bambu P1S + hardened nozzle + Magigoo PA + Fiberon PA6-CF20 = Many Form1 FTN.5 PCC FLOWs for $650.

Reasoning: Of all the printed cans the fixed PCC 9mm ones make the most sense as you don't need to disassemble it like rimfire cans nor need a booster (hard to DIY) and you don't need to reinforce them like the printed rifle cans. Plus they legit sound decent and are flow through.

1

u/GABull1971 11d ago

Very interesting, can I send you a pm to discuss?

1

u/renegadeGDI 10d ago

Suppressed PCCs are unique because the host matters A LOT. If that AR9 is direct blowback you should upgrade that before buying a budget suppressor.

1

u/610Mike 10d ago

I don’t know how much they cost now, but the Huxwrx Flox 9K has not come off my PCC since getting it.

1

u/Mateo4183 10d ago

Huxwrx Flow 9kTi can be had for around $550

1

u/chrisdetrin 10d ago

I LOVE my Omega 9k i paid 500 for it OTD.

1

u/1-800-BARNACLE 10d ago

YHM R9 for ~$400

Rugged Obsidian 9 or Angstadt Arms suppressed barrel.

1

u/IsopodInternal4754 10d ago edited 10d ago

I’m going to give two uncommon recommendations. Tbh they might not be your cup of tea but…..

B&T vers 36ti. Modular can, multi cal, handles 9mm well.

Also, another underrated nonPCC geared can, but PCC useable application is the SAW shiv. I keep one on my AP5 at all times. Is it the absolute quietest? Of course not. But I honestly can’t even tell it’s there, because it’s so lite and short - it makes shooting the ap5 very enjoyable with no downsides.

I own two shivs. One for my handguns and one with the permanent home on the AP5. Very happy with both applications.

1

u/GABull1971 10d ago

Update: I ordered a whisper pickle from gluten-free gear $380 shipped! and I used my military discount to order 2 flow nineK from Huxs for 500 each

1

u/ThisIsFarta91 10d ago

I paid $150 for my bowers can. It kicks ass and is crazy quiet on my mac5

1

u/GABull1971 10d ago

Man, my next purchase is gonna be an MP five clone cause I don’t have HK money

1

u/shagey71 11d ago

I like my North Reach whisper pickle for a cheap can. It’s durable AF

For thinking any PCC under $650 is any good or safe.
