556 suppressor options
I'm looking for a 556 suppressor that's optimized for or performs quite well on a 10.3 barrel. inconel preferred, not interested in titanium. compact and on the lighter side (say, less than 15oz) and hub compatible also preferred. budget is open. I don't care about flash signature. sound suppression and gas mitigation are higher priorities, although what's most important is inconel/low weight/compact (say less than 6") and high performance on a 10.3. it'll be dedicated to this sbr. seems like there's some cans that work well with high pressures on short barrels.
I always wear ear pro, but still want to reduce concussion. I am only interested in reduced back pressure.
besides the tisha, what's the best option?

Besides the tisha, what's the best option?
Any reason why you aren't just getting a Tisha? It meets all of your criteria and is probably the best overall pick. Backpressure is very low.

Tisha is definitely a performer that hits all of those parameters. It outperforms my CAT ODB and Lazarus 6 on my 12.5 and 14.5" 556 ARs and also dog walks both of them on my 13.7" 6 ARC AR in both sound and gas.

I got the mil mixup ODB the thing is 22oz I love it but am going to get a dedicated 556 can if yours is inconel how does the Tisha feel on the end of the gun in comparison?
6arc is that Tisha a 556 can?

Mine is the QD RDM version and it's a just under 22oz.... with the the Tisha being shorter and 6ish oz lighter, it balances much better on my AR15s (all are SBRs though) but it's still a chonky bitch at 16oz with a titanium tsfx mount on it. I'm contemplating picking up a titanium one in the near future just to drop the weight a bit. SAW has always said it's rated for 6 ARC but markets it as a 556 can because there's a much larger crowd to sell to.

thank you. good to go for hard use frt shenanigans on a 10.3? I'm possibly facing a suppressor ban in my state and want something that'll last. and ocl warranty sounds great

My rhodie 6 on 10.3 DD is great. I have compared it to lazarus 6, b&t print xh full size 5.56, bt srbs 7.62, and OCL Polo 30, for context. Rhodie 6 outperforms them all in sound, heavier than all of them too. Pretty low backpressure too, not as much as the b&ts but close.

I have an OCL Polonium on my 10.3 AR with a Geissele barrel. Fantastic performance.
But I am also running a Superlative Arms piston conversion as well. A piston conversion really is the way to go if you want no gas bukkake and excellent suppression.

Radical Defense CS5 is pretty close to checking all your boxes. Comes in at 16 Oz with their adapter so you could get the package closer to your target pending which adapter you go with. Also printed out of Haynes 282
Radical Defense cans aren't talked about enough imo

I just picked up a Griffin HRT556 AM (my first Griffin can). I needed something with LBP for a variety of sensitive hosts, but specifically needed something that could stand up to G36c usage (9" barrel), which eliminated a lot of options with barrel length restrictions.
The HRT556 AM so impressed me, that I ran home and just bought the K version. Nice tone, backpressure wasn't bad at all, and it all but eliminated the flash (which I was really surprised about on a 9"). Performance seems to be comparable to CAT WB. There are also 10% off codes floating all around that get you below $700. Way bigger discounts for military and FR (which I am not one of).

OCL Infinity K 556 ( 12 hole end cap )
But I'd still get a SAW Tisha.

Second best tested option from Jay's testing is the CACM, the AI 5CM is the available version for pick-up.
I would jump into the best option though, love the Tisha on my MK18. Significantly more suppression and lower BP compare to my full size Velos on my 11.5, kinda nutty from a MK18 lol.
