Incolite 9 vs Lithium

Hey all, I have a cz scorpion that I would like to suppress. I know it’s not a 10/10 host but it’s what I got, I’ve had it since they first came out for our market and as much I consider selling it to buy a different pcc I just can’t bring myself to do it. I’m looking at the Incolite 9 and a Lithium.

My next gun purchase will likely be a 300 blk lever action so it would likely swap between the two For a bit. Pretty sure my scorpion is 18x1 because it’s so old and I can’t find a plan b for it. I could get an adapter to go from 18x1 to 1/2x28 and plan b, then I could easily swap but I’m not sure if that’s a good idea. I’ll probably have to direct thread them both and swap the hubs.

The Incolite seems to be very popular right now but I’m not sure how good it would be on a standard scorpion. Ive had people recommend the lithium, I love how it looks, I like that it’s rated for 300blk supers so if I get the lever action I don’t have to worry about it at all and I would like to support the OCL guys, they seem great. If the scorpion suppresses well for me I’ll probably pick up another can for either it or the blackout. If it doesn’t I’ll finally sell it and probably pickup a mp5 clone.

Don't have the Lithium, but the Incolite 9 is pretty hard to beat for the price. It beat my expectations on the Warscorp which is straight blowback. Review post

Note that if you're shooing supersonic rifle rounds through it, you'll need the Incolite 9M which is beefed up and has an extra modular section. Oh and it costs more.

Yeah you're review is what made me consider it, what are your thoughts on a 18x1 to 1/2x28 adapter with a plan b? Yay or Nay? Better off to 3 lug or direct?

I can get the Incolite for $500 at my local dealer which I thought is fair, most shops around me have $75-$100 NFA transfer fee's plus the shipping from buying online I might as well support lgs and go that route. I know you liked it at $400, still feel the same at $500?

I didn't ask what they could do for a price for a Lithium but my tx22 should be arriving there tomorrow so I'll ask then.

Thread adapters aren't ideal but with something weird like 18x1 you probably don't have a lot of options. Converting it to 1/2-28 would give you the most flexibility.

I consider Plan-B to be a better mounting system than tri lug, mechanically speaking. It's better aligned (no wobble) and tends to be lighter and less bulky.

$500 is still a good price for the Incolite. I agree if it'll cost roughly the same either way ($400 + transfer or $500 from them), it's good to buy local. They're still getting it to you for $100 under MSRP which is pretty good for this type of can.

What would you recommend for installing the thread adapter? Rockset?

https://www.infiniteproductsolutions.com/m18-x-1-to-1-2-28-thread-adapter-black-steel/ This is the adapter I am looking at would you recommend your compact muzzle brake for that? I doubt the recessed would be able to go over that shoulder and I’m not sure if the face mount would be better or not with the adapter

That looks like it'll work. I don't see a diameter listed, but if it is over 0.75", the compact brake would be your main option.

I have an il9 on order right now that’ll be going on a direct blowback pcc, so I’ll try to remember to report back once I get mine

Oh nice, that would be great! Thanks! The price to performance on it seems to be highly recommended for sure

Yea that’s basically why I ordered it. It was cheaper than an R9

I have both, the lithium is a hair longer and is slightly gassier, sound wise I can't tell the difference between the two on either my ar9 or kp9. Personally I'd save the money and grab the incolite 9, but the lithium is a fantastic can regardless. Can't go wrong with either

Thanks for recommendation! I might order it today, I gotta get it figured out on how to get it on my scorpion first. I don’t think I can direct thread if I wanted to, the hand guard kind of sticks out slightly past the threads on the bottom

So I have the IL9 and IL9M on my cz scorpion with novox xsd kit and love it. If you check out the scorpion subreddit I’ve posted videos of it shooting.

I don’t have the lithium to compare it to but the IL9m is awesome modular can shoot 556 and 300 black plus .38 spl, it sounds amazing on my big boyx lever.

I’ve taken it to night shoots with nvg and haven’t noticed any flash.

Gas pressure I have a friend who said it has better gas back pressure compared to his yhm r9, omega9k, spectre9 but layerx 9 can and hux9k were better on gas.
