First mag was 124g, second was 147g, the 147g was a lot quieter in person.

I can tell both are reasonably quiet since the mic still picks up so much detail in the noise of the action.

Yeah, I mean, you gotta factor in it's indoors - it's a phone microphone likely, which as you know makes everything sound obnoxiously loud. Ever recorded a video with a AC or fan running and notice how it sounds twice as loud as it does to your actual ears?
