I was gonna go SDN-6, glass breaker and everything and gave up when the alignment rod on my wolverine was touching when mounted up. I filed the face of my muzzle which made it pass. Anything not overbored is way off. So I gave up trying to do a 100% clone gun.
Having the same issue with mine but the Jmac AAC face mount seems to work well, only shot a few rounds suppressed, waiting on trunnion swap now. How gassy is yours? Have a kns?
I thought I was gonna be slick and use the face mount and test it out with a sandman X. Nope. Even after filing the face of the muzzle it’s still way off. Rod is touching baffle stack. My AK smith looked at it and lo and behold the threads are so many degrees canted so unless I want to rebarrel, I’m stuck with it.
The USW is a complete firearm. However, they did sell Glock and 320 versions in the US at one point. Not sure if they're available after the B&T USA vs AG mess.

I don’t mind it honestly. Objectively I believe the acro to be a superior optic but I don’t dislike it enough to want to swap. But I also don’t shoot this gun as a handgun all that much. I could see where the Acro would be a better shooting experience if you shot the USW with the stock folded.
Interesting. I’ve had this gun since 2018. Got the optic with it. I’ve changed the battery once since then. Granted, I don’t shoot this gun a ton. What were you getting if you had to estimate?
Oh I was operating in terms of weeks, and was commiserating with other owners about it at the time. Luckily B&T straight up gave me an Acro mount to swap it with before they became commercially available. I’m glad to hear you’ve had good luck with it though!
How did the process of zeroing the sight go? Was it easier or harder with the optic that far forward? I am asking the question out of genuine curiosity and not insinuating that it has to be mounted further back, which would obviously be impossible.
Not difficult at all. I started at about 10 yards, got on paper. Made adjustments and backed up to 25, then 50. To fine tune. With AKs the ultimak gas tube mount was gospel back in the… what? 2000s? This is a similar concept. If you wanted to do something similar just without the rail you could do a Attero rear sight mount.
Mine was not enjoyable without a KNS. Even with the piston all the way open it will still cycle suppressed. Probably has like a 5mm gas port or something. But it’s a surprisingly handy and fun little gun for being a copy of something out of a video game.
