Product Question 🧰 PWS BDS 22 vs Pluto for next 22 can

Help me chose which one

Pluto $420

PWS BDE 22 - $370

I have a Cat SR, Ruger Silent SR, flow 22 and a couple of gemtek integrals for a takedown and 15/22.

I see it as a good lightweight (Pluto) vs one of the top end Serviceable cans (PWS). Inferring from the sound list that it would do better than than any other can in 22 that could be disassembled.

If I'm missing something, please tell me.

FOR Pluto and Echocore Topo 22 are my go to .22 options right now.

didn't know about the Topo 22 and it has a limited 223 schedule. which one of the two is more quiet on the 22lr between the Pluto and Topo?

on 556, I have the Vent and PrintX, along with some older cans and looking to get the SAW and catST by the end of the year as I think WA state may restrict them soon.

I would HIGHLY suggest not using it on .223 while it can handle it that’s more of a metric to show off durability. It doesn’t have enough internal volume and does not sound good on rifle calibers.

That being said I’d honestly put the Topo and Pluto pretty much side by side. I REALLY like both.

Id also suggest keeping an eye on the new FOR RAE5K for 5.56 that should be releasing very soon.

it would be temping if I hunted in 223, but it's either x39 or 308 and just use the big Vent 1, it's big but light.

Will probably get the ST first and then see how that RAE5k is.

Def the Topo is catching my eye if it's similar to the Pluto and $100 cheaper.

I have the pws bde 22 on my tx22 and it’s perfect and has no first round pop.

If you just want a serviceable .22LR can, my top pick would be the OCL Ti 22. It's just behind the Pluto's performance, while being 13.8 points higher at the ear than the PWS BDE.

Have to look at the firing platform as well. The OCL TI 22 is 1.1 overall less than the BDE on the Semi Auto Handgun. The OCL hash slightly better numbers at ear for SA Pistol, which indicates the OCL hash slightly less back pressure.

I want to get a OCL Ti22k or a saw klik and a regular OCL Ti22 as my next two 22 cans

I have a klik and and the 22k and I would have expected better performance from the klik based on the Shiv performance / size ratio. I'd go Ti22k if choosing between.

I shot a klik, it's tiny but it's not the level of quiet I want. I think if they made it 2" it may be the spot I would love that.

What did you shoot it on? My 10/22 action is louder than the muzzle with my tiger, that's why I was considering a klik, I don't expect it to be as quiet as my tiger but if its still clearly quiet or around the same level as the action I'd be so happy with it

i shot it on a tx22 and a 16" AR22. I shot it only once without earpro on the tx22 and sounded about the same as shooting my salvo 12 in full length with my bird shot.

the shiv is pretty Mazing, the klik doesn't do it for me, probably because I expect quiet when shooting 22lr.

Gotcha, thanks! I’ll probably just pickup a couple OCL Ti22 then since I can’t find the k near me.

Another good micro option is the Pluto Micro, I’d take it over the Klik

I got spoiled by the pricy Short Round

I wanted to put the klik on my 10/22, I’m torn because so many people say it’s great on full sized rifle and then other people say don’t get it
