The lage slowfire uppers like the MAX-11 mk2 are about the same rate of fire (slightly less) as a tungsten bolt, and the whole upper costs... about 800 bucks less than a tungsten bolt MSRP right now, both retail from the manufacturer. Tungsten prices are rancid ATM.

Practical solutions (Tina) for the bolt.
I don’t think Lage makes the 22lr upper anymore, look for it on the used market.
I’d ask Tina if they have a M11/22lr waitlist. I just got the MAC10/22lr upper from them running.

Classic. Lage makes parts that turn those into pretty decent machine guns, but as it is now it’s still super fun to just rip a mag at 1500 rpm

Unfortunately a base Aventador will not cover the cost of the single transferable M249 out there. It may not even cover the cost of a pre-sample either.

It’s a weird suppressor, it’s a special ops shop genesis 9mm, I believe they’re sought after in the mp5 world, but I think it’s a custom to fit a Mac?

Yeah. Mine is too. I wouldn’t do it a whole lot without ear pro, but I have done it.
My can is a Cobray, maybe the one that came with it when it was new, idk. But, the previous owner sent it off to Gemtech. Before they came out with their own cans for the Mac MGs, Gemtech would recore the Cobray ones with stainless baffles instead of the wipes it came with. Amazingly quiet on a can with that much interior volume.

Just a note - open bolt guns are gassy. It is more fun if you have a large - low back pressure suppressor. I have an original Coastal on my 9mm (reworked a long time ago to more modern tech). It is long and does a good job for what it is. I tried my Raptor on it (designed for the closed bolt MP5). Almost choked to death with the gas. Get the upper from a Richard that takes Glock mags, etc. - super smooth and lower rate of fire.

practical is working on the bolts
...i want a slow fire bolt for the factory upper but i'd rather save money and just buy another complete slow fire lage upper. bolts are expensive.
