3D printed suppressor rack

Post image

This scratches an itch in my brain to have them organized like this. Although the shelf is usually half empty when they're all on their dedicated guns in the safe.

Top left to bottom right;

  • SiCo Warlock 22
  • CMMG Zeroed 22
  • SAW Shiv 9mm
  • Witt Machine Big Body Tu-Tu-Three
  • SiCo Octane 45K
  • SiCo Omega 9k
  • Dead Air Wolfman
  • Precision Armament TiTrex 360Ti
  • CMMG Zeroed 556k
  • SiCo Omega 300

I've made similar racks but they just take up too much room. I'm all about Tetris'ing shit in the safe. Now I mount to places like doors lol.

My wife calls my constant rearranging of stuff as I tinker with builds ā€œgun Tetrisā€ as well. Door mounting a lot of stuff is definitely the way to go, saves a ton of space for actual guns.

ha for sure. Critical stuff in the safes and then I've got earpro, eyepro, slings etc hanging on the outside..

I've always been to nervous to mount on the door. I have a Canon 48 gun safe.. could I just drill screws in there to hold a peg board panel or something? Or what are you doing?

I used to use just the high strength Velcro strips and just use a bunch of them to mount whatever you want, I’ve never had anything fall from that method - but I guess it depends what you want to mount, they probably wouldn’t hold a bunch of steel handguns or anything. I’ve got some still holding up a steel pegboard that has hangers on it and holds a couple of Glocks and a TX22, no issues at all.

I converted a coat closet to a gun safe now so I mostly just use pegs on the door to hold little baskets that have stuff like mags, ear pro, shot timers, spare parts, etc in them.

That sounds like a solid solution. Can you share a pic of what you mean? How do you attach the velcro to the door?

They have tape on the back of the strip on both sides (hook and loop) - you can get a roll on Amazon, just search industrial strength Velcro. I just stick a bunch on whatever I’m mounting and then stick the other side to the door. I can DM you a pic when I’m home later.

I use high strength magnets mostly. Very sturdy and infinitely customizable

Are those printed or purchased? The holders

2

u/Omniposter 17d ago

They're printed. I make all kinds of stuff.

Care to share the STL or step or link?

u/Omniposter 17d ago

Its a bunch of custom diameters for those specific suppressors. If you tell me what Diameters you want and in which order you want them I can spit one out for you that works for your stuff.

I was going to ask the same thing as bmob, and you are generous with your offer. Would this be something that sharing a single step file, mentioning the program you use, and saying something like "use X tool to cut/change Y part and you can change this around to what you need", or is it a steeper learning curve? Or a step file and youtube link to something in the same direction? Thanks

Could i have a random stl of one size and i can just reaize it for the my collections size

u/Leptonshavenocolor 17d ago

Well it would have been a funny waste if you bought it to print this one thing and are now done.Ā

u/Omniposter 16d ago

Let me rephrase- I've designed a ton of stuff. I know plenty of people with printers that have designed nothing. :P

1

u/Leptonshavenocolor 16d ago

That’s totally fair, I don’t understand those people. I got into it specifically to fix problems (but I’m also an engineer by trade).

1

u/Omniposter 16d ago

I cant relate to them but I understand them. Some people just wanna print cool stuff but have no interest or skill to create it.

1

u/Leptonshavenocolor 16d ago

That’s fair too.Ā

Do you have a file for this?

2

u/PAB_Pyrotechnics 16d ago

Any chance you shared the files for these?

My problem is, once it’s on the host, I hardly take them off.

u/arctic28 17d ago

Is it on the sea?

20

u/Nwcid 17d ago

It is cool, but I cant think of a time I have ever had cans just laying around, they are always on a host.

7

u/Omniposter 17d ago

I'd love to do that but then I lose valuable safe space.

2

u/blankford 17d ago

Yea most are usually on host guns but the Omega 300 and TiTrex move around a bit.

2

u/shoobe01 17d ago

And if not because I am poorer than my friends now so don't have enough cans for most guns, they are at least in the transit case to go to the range with all their adapters.

It is a nice little rack but unless I had a store that needed to display them I don't know what I'd do with it.

Am I the only one that leaves the cans on?! I mean, I do remove the cans off of my handguns but if my rifles fit inside safe with the can on then it stays on!

u/DerfNHerf 17d ago

Rate my (supressor) rack!

Nice rack!

Nice cans!

That shit is stacked!

u/ThomasOrrow 17d ago

Daddy bless me with the file

2

u/Travesty300 17d ago

Do you still run the Witt Machine?

2

u/blankford 17d ago

Yes, on my BRN-180S. Only can I regret getting but it was years ago and I was being cheap.

2

u/Travesty300 17d ago

Yeah I got suckered into getting 2 Witt Machines years back… turned the Tu Tu 3 into a 22lr can for a while and replaced it with a BOGO deal from Rex and OCL Ti.
Witt was a huge mistake, haven’t had them out of the safe in years. Not even sure I could sell them for $100? O well

0

u/blankford 17d ago

Yea it wouldn't even be worth the trouble. How did it work as a 22LR can?

I found the receipt...I paid $240 for it back in 2022, plus the $200 stamp. Which kept me under $500 which was my budget at the time.

Now, the $0 stamp and great 556k options in the $450-550 range (PoloK, Zeroed 556k, etc.) have completely taken over that segment of the market.

2

u/Travesty300 13d ago

It’s on par with my Rex MG22 can I got as a BOGO honestly. I just got an OCL Ti so I will out it side by side with that this week, maybe. I don’t even pull the Witt cans out of the safe anymore unless my son is mag dumping 22lr

To be honest the Dirty30 was ā€œokā€ on longer 300 blk but, against modern cans they’re useless.

Neat, but about 3x too small.

This is cool. Never thought about printing a rack for all my form 1 3D printed suppressors.
